Lagrimita es un gato negro y blanco que fue entregado voluntariamente por sus dueños porque su comportamiento cambió cuando llegó otra cría a la casa. Hasta entonces, Lagrimita había sido el único gato, muy attachado a su dueño y acostumbrado a un entorno estable. Su llegada al refugio ha significado demasiados cambios en un tiempo demasiado corto: pasar de ser el único gato en la casa a tener otra cría en el hogar y ahora compartiendo espacio con otros gatos, perdiendo su punto de referencia humano y adaptándose a un entorno completamente nuevo. Todo esto ha causado que esté muy estresada en este momento. No tolera la presencia de otros gatos y es muy desconfiada con las personas, no permitiéndose ser acariciada por ahora. Estamos seguros de que, con el tiempo, Lagrimita podrá asimilar su nueva situación y comenzar gradualmente a abrirse, pero no hay duda de que es un gato que necesita ser el único, sin otros gatos a su alrededor. Lagrimita is a black and white cat who was voluntarily surrendered by her owners because her behaviour changed when another kitten arrived in the house. Until then, Lagrimita had been the only cat, very attached to her owner and accustomed to a stable environment. Her arrival at the shelter has meant too many changes in too short a time: going from being the only cat in the house to having another kitten in the home and now sharing space with other cats, losing her human reference point and adapting to a completely new environment. All this has caused her to be very stressed at the moment. She does not tolerate the presence of other cats and is very wary of people, not allowing herself to be stroked for now. We are confident that, with time, Lagrimita will be able to assimilate her new situation and gradually begin to open up, but there is no doubt that she is a cat who needs to be the only one, without other cats around her.
