Lumen puede vivir con niños mayores de 10 años. Le gustaría ser el único gato en el hogar y necesitará acceso al exterior. Lumen es una chica encantadora y dulce que estaba bastante preocupada cuando llegó aquí al refugio. Puede ser una dama tímida y tardó un poco en bajar la guardia. También llegó a nuestro cuidado con otro gato, quien mostraba algunos comportamientos agresivos hacia ella. Desde que se las separó, Lumen parece ser una chica mucho más feliz, que ahora está ganando confianza y nos muestra cada vez más de su verdadera personalidad. Es un gato de regazo que ama la atención. Purrirá en sus rodillas, desesperada por recibir cariño. A Lumen le encanta su comida y los premios, pero actualmente está bastante sobrepeso. Necesitará una familia responsable que pueda vigilar cuidadosamente su dieta y animarla a alcanzar y mantener un peso más saludable. Lumen mostró algunos comportamientos relacionados con el estrés en su anterior hogar, lo que creemos que se debe a que no estaba contenta viviendo con otros gatos, por lo que sería mejor adaptada a un hogar sin otras compañeras felinas. También vivió con un perro, con quien se dijo que se llevaba bien, así que podría convivir potencialmente con otro perro tranquilo y bien educado, con presentaciones lentas y cuidadosas. Lumen es una pequeña dama sensible que necesita un hogar tranquilo y silencioso que le ofrezca el tiempo, paciencia y estímulo suave que necesita mientras encuentra sus pies y se adapta a su nuevo entorno. No tenemos duda de que pronto saldrá de su caparazón en poco tiempo y recompensará a su familia para siempre con muchas muestras de amor y afecto.

Lumen could live with children aged 10+. She would like to be the only cat in the home and will require outdoor access. Lumen is a lovely, sweet girl who was quite worried when she first arrived here at the shelter. She can be a timid lady and took a little while to let her guard down. She also arrived into our care with another cat, who was displaying some aggressive behaviours towards her. Since separating them, Lumen seems to be a much happier girl, who is now growing in confidence and showing us more and more of her true character. She is a true lap cat who loves attention! She will purr away on your knee, desperate for a fuss! Lumen does love her food and treats but is currently quite overweight. She will need a responsible family who can carefully monitor her diet and encourage her to reach and maintain a healthier weight. Lumen displayed some stress-related behaviours in her previous home which we believe are due to being unhappy living with other cats, so she would be best suited to a home without any other feline companions. She did also live with a dog, who she was said to get along with, so she could potentially live with another calm and well-mannered dog again with slow, careful introductions. Lumen is a sensitive little lady who needs a calm and quiet home who can offer her the time, patience and gentle encouragement she needs whilst she finds her feet and adjusts to her new environment. We have no doubt that she will soon be coming out of her shell in no time and rewarding her forever family with tons of love and affection!
