Adoptar a PomPom

PomPom fue dejado atado a un poste de la calle que lleva al refugio, en mitad de la noche en la oscuridad, en el camino del automóvil. Fue encontrado por un voluntario que llegó muy temprano por la mañana, aún en la oscuridad, y casi lo atropelló, porque de repente estaba parado en el camino estrecho. Aún llevaba su arnés, pero no tenía agua y no podía irse, estaba atado correctamente. PomPom tenía una microchip originaria de Bélgica, y aunque la chip no está registrada aquí en Andalucía, normalmente no podríamos ver al dueño, busquémoslo más profundo, contactamos con Bélgica y obtuvimos los datos del dueño, esperando que simplemente se hubiera perdido, y quizás su familia esté en Marbella de vacaciones. Su nombre registrado era BoumBoum. Lamentablemente, el dueño nos respondió con "Gracias por la información, pero lo pueden tener ustedes". Así que PomPom ha sido abandonado, rechazado por su hogar, su vida que conocía. Según la información que tenemos, había vivido con un hombre y una mujer antes. PomPom es un chico robusto, ligeramente sobrepeso, y por lo tanto en este momento un poco fuerte en la correa, aunque sabe perfectamente cómo caminar con la correa de manera educada. Recientemente fue separado de todo lo que conocía, por lo tanto en este momento es un poco desconfiado con las nuevas personas y no se siente cómodo con personas que no saben leer el lenguaje corporal de un perro o que no respetan el espacio privado y comienzan a tocar al perro por todas partes. PomPom le gusta a las personas que le dan un momento para que te observe, para relajarse en tu presencia, y luego le ofrezcan un buen rascado en las nalgas. Añade un poco de pollo a la historia y la amistad queda sellada. Le toma un momento formar un vínculo con un humano en este momento, todavía mira en la dirección de la calle donde estaba atado, y donde probablemente vio el coche de su humano alejándose de él por última vez. Sin embargo, sabemos que PomPom proviene de un entorno "normal" de casa, lo que significa que probablemente se adapte rápidamente nuevamente a la vida en casa. En este momento estamos buscando un hogar para PomPom como un solo perro, sin embargo también se pueden considerar e investigar las consultas con una hembra social tranquila. No sabiendo exactamente su antecedente, por ahora no lo reubicaremos en familias con niños pequeños. Como PomPom viene con su equipaje de corazón roto, busca humanos con experiencia en perros, que puedan entender su comunicación y su expresión de sentimientos, límites, necesidades. Para adopción en España, se necesitaría un registro PPP, que el refugio puede ayudar con. PomPom también está disponible para adopción internacional. Su altura en los hombros es de 63 cm.

PomPom was left tied to a street post leading up to the shelter, in the middle of the night in the dark, on the car road. He was found by a volunteer who arrived to work very early in the morning, still in the dark, and almost drove into PomPom, because he suddenly was standing at the narrow road. He was still wearing his harness, but had no water, and could not leave, he was tied properly. PomPom had a microchip originating from Belgium, and even though the chip is not registrated here in Andalucia, so normally we would not be able to see the owner, we dug deeper, reached out to Belgium, and got the owner's details, hoping that he simply was lost, and maybe his family is in Marbella for holidays. His registrated name was BoumBoum. Sadly, the owner responded to us with "Thanks for the info, but you can keep him". So PomPom has been abandoned, rejected by his home, his life that he knows. From the info we have, he has been living with a man and a woman before. PomPom is a chunky boy, slightly overweight, and therefore at the moment a bit strong on the leash, though he knows very well how to walk on the leash politely. Having just recently been ripped away from all he knew before, he is at the moment a bit skeptical when it comes to new people, and doesn't feel comfortable with people who cannot read a dog's body language, or people who do not respect private space, and directly start to touch a dog all over. PomPom likes people who give him a moment to check you out, to relax in your presence, and then offer him a good butt scratch. Add some chicken to the story, and the friendship is sealed. It takes him a moment to form a bond with a human at the moment, he is still looking towards the direction of the street where he was tied up, and where he most likely saw the car of his human leaving him last. However, we know that PomPom is coming from a "normal" home environment, meaning that he would most likely very quickly settle back into home life again. At the moment we are looking for a home as a single dog for PomPom, however inquiries with a calm social female can also be considered and tested. Not knowing his background exactly, we will for the time being not rehome him to families with small children. As PomPom does come with his luggage of heartbrake, he is looking for dog-experienced humans, who will be able to understand his communication and his expression of feelings, boundaries, needs. For adoption in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed, which the shelter can help with. PomPom is also available for international adoption. His shoulder height is 63cm.
