Toby was brought to us after running panicked across the road. He finds many things stressful and needed time to trust people. In the kennel, he shows stress through barking and lip lifting at strangers. He guards his food and needs to be left alone while eating. Outside his kennel, once he knows you, Toby becomes incredibly affectionate - wanting to sit on your lap and give kisses. Walking is very difficult for him as everything triggers stress reactions. He needs a home with a large, well-fenced yard where he can exercise safely without daily walks. Toby needs a special home without other pets or small children who understand his boundaries.
