Alvin needs a person who provides clarity and structure. This mixed breed male knows what he wants and clearly shows when something doesn't suit him. However, this isn't a reason to back away - once you take time to build trust, he's up for anything. Swimming (little water rat), forest walks, or cozy TV evenings - as long as he's involved! Healthily sensitive from a young age, our 'giant baby' still has joint problems that must be accommodated. For Alvin, we seek responsible owners with dog experience who, with our support, want to take time to become a great human-dog team. When he respects someone, he'll go through thick and thin with you. He needs people who know what they're doing, then Alvin rewards you a thousandfold.
