Automne est un tout petit chiot très doux et joueur prêt à commencer une nouvelle vie. Elle est un chiot de 5 mois qui nous a été envoyée par un autre centre de secours. Automne a beaucoup d'amour à offrir et adore les humains. Elle aime les friandises, ce qui l'aide certainement dans son éducation et elle apprécie faire de la formation de base avec un cliqueur. Amber apprend les bases (assis, couché, descendre, etc). En raison d'être un chiot en cage, elle peut devenir très surexcitée lorsqu'elle voit des personnes ou qu'elle joue avec elles et elle tente parfois de mordiller. Heureusement, elle adore les friandises de viande congelée et les chiffons doux congelés qui l'aident vraiment à se calmer dans ces situations. Elle adore également jouer avec des jouets, ce qui est parfait pour rediriger son énergie vers quelque chose de positif. Elle apprécie particulièrement les jouets qui font du bruit car elle peut jouer seule avec eux, mais elle apprécie aussi jouer avec vous avec n'importe quel type de jouet. Nous pensons qu'elle aimera faire partie d'une famille avec des enfants âgés de 12 ans ou plus. Elle a tendance à sauter et peut être très enthousiaste si elle est trop excitée en vous câlinant sur le canapé ! Nous travaillons avec elle pour cela et elle s'est améliorée dans le fait de ne pas sauter et d'effectuer d'autres choses qui sont plus gratifiantes pour elle. C'est un chiot assez sociable qui sort de sa zone de confort, surtout lors des promenades et lorsqu'elle entre dans de nouveaux endroits. Lorsqu'elle rencontre de nouvelles personnes, elle peut être très excité, mais parfois aussi timide. Elle préfère aller vers les personnes plutôt que d'être approchée par elles, et ne veut pas qu'on la caresse sur la tête. De plus, elle a montré certains comportements d'apaisement envers certains employés et vétérinaires, ce que les adoptants devront reconnaître et pouvoir lui laisser de l'espace lorsque cela se produit. Elle bénéficierait de cours de dressage pour chiots, et prospérerait dans des classes plus petites. Elle devient très excitée en voyant d'autres chiens pendant les promenades (tirant sur la laisse, gémissant et voulant saluer) donc elle apprécierait probablement un ami canin. Elle apprécierait un foyer où quelqu'un est présent la plupart de la journée pour l'aider à répondre à ses besoins de chiot. Elle a tendance

Autumn is a very sweet bouncy puppy that is ready for her new fresh start. She is a 5 month old puppy who came into us from another Rescue centre. Autumn has a lot of love to give and adores people. She loves treats which certainly helps with her training and she is fond of doing basic training with a clicker. Autumn is learning the basics (sit, down, off etc). Due to being a puppy in kennels, she can get very overexcited when seeing people or playing with them and she does attempt to mouth. Thankfully, she loves frozen meat treats and frozen soft rags which really helps with calming her down in these circumstances. She also loves playing with toys which is perfect to help her redirect her energy onto. She particularly enjoys playing with squeaky toys as she can play with those by herself, but also enjoys playing with you too with any type of toy. We think she will love to be part of a family with children aged 12+. She does tend to jump up and can be quite over exuberant if overexcited when cuddling her on the sofa! We are working with her with this and she’s been doing better at not jumping up and instead doing other things that are more rewarding to her. She is quite an outgoing puppy and puts herself out of her comfort zone, especially on walks and when going into new areas. When meeting new people, she can be very excited but other times quite nervous. She prefers to go over to people instead of them coming over to her, and not to be stroked over the head. Also, she has shown some appeasement behaviours with some staff and vets, which adopters will need to recognise and be able to give her space when this happens. She would benefit from puppy training classes, and would thrive in smaller classes. She gets very excited upon seeing other dogs on walks (pully on the lead, whining and wanting to go and say hello) so would probably appreciate a doggy friend. She would appreciate a home where someone is around most of the day to help meet her puppy needs. She tends to settle and play in her kennel when left alone, but if left alone too long she starts to whine and bark. She will need help increasing her ‘left alone’ time. Overall, Autumn is a healthy, happy medium sized pup with a lot of potential for the right home.
