09-05-26 Gracie est une petite fille douce mais timide qui est entrée dans notre garde provenant d'un éleveur en quête d'une nouvelle vie. Elle est actuellement très inquiète et a tendance à se réfugier sur son lit lorsqu'une personne entre dans la cage. Elle n'est pas encore à l'aise avec les humains et aura besoin de temps et de patience pour s'installer et se sentir en sécurité. Une fois qu'elle commence à se détendre, elle acceptera des attentions douces. Elle recherchera un foyer calme et tranquille où elle pourra s'installer à son propre rythme et bénéficiera d'adoptants ayant de l'expérience avec les chiens ex-élevés anxieux. Gracie préfère rester près de ses amis de la cage et a souvent tendance à se cacher derrière eux pour se rassurer. En raison de cela, elle aura besoin d'un chien résident aimant et confiant dans son nouveau foyer pour l'aider à se guider et lui offrir le réconfort dont elle a besoin pendant son adaptation et pendant qu'elle retrouve ses repères. Comme Gracie n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, elle devra apprendre tout sur l'entraînement aux toilettes, la laisse et les bases de la vie en famille. Une approche calme et constante l'aidera à progressivement construire sa confiance. Gracie est arrivée avec une hernie inguinale, qui sera réparée au moment de sa stérilisation. 09-05-26 Gracie is a sweet but shy girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She can be quite worried at the moment and will often retreat to her bed when someone enters the kennel. She is not yet comfortable around people and will need time and patience to help her settle and feel safe. Once she begins to relax, she will accept gentle fuss. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace and would benefit from adopters who have experience with nervous ex-breeding dogs. Gracie prefers to stay close to her kennel friends and will often hide behind them for reassurance. Because of this, she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. As Gracie has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. A calm and consistent approach will help her gradually build confidence. Gracie has arrived with an inguinal hernia, which will be repaired at the time of her spay. Gracie is a gentle and sensitive little girl who just needs time, understanding, and the support of another dog. With patience and kindness, she will begin to feel safe and grow into a loving companion. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
