Splendide Jolene est une jeune fille véritablement frappante, avec les plus spectaculaires oreilles et un regard qui attire tous les regards partout où elle va. Mais ce n'est pas seulement son apparence qui la rend spéciale : c'est un chien intelligent, affectueux, plein de potentiel dans la bonne famille. Jolene est un âme sensible qui a trouvé la vie trop intense dans son ancienne maison. Elle a formé un attachement extrêmement fort à son propriétaire, ce qui a entraîné une forte anxiété séparative. À mesure que son anxiété augmentait, elle a commencé à montrer des comportements réactifs envers les étrangers, à la maison et lors de promenades. Depuis qu'elle est venue nous rejoindre, Jolene n'a pas montré aucun de ces comportements, elle est bien plus détendue et nous commençons à voir le chien incroyable qu'elle est vraiment sous son anxiété. Une chose qui illumine véritablement Jolene est la présence d'autres chiens. Elle adore la compagnie canine et vit actuellement très bien avec notre famille de gardiennage, où elle passe du temps à se socialiser et à jouer. Être entourée d'autres chiens est essentiel pour sa joie et sa confiance, et nous recherchons une famille disposant d'au moins un chien résident confiant et équilibré pour l'aider à se guider et la rassurer. (Elle n'a pas encore été testée avec les chats.) Jolene aura besoin d'une maison où quelqu'un est présent pendant la majeure partie de la journée, au moins initialement, pour continuer à travailler sur son anxiété séparative et l'aider à développer progressivement et positivement son indépendance. Elle est jeune, intelligente et pleine d'énergie. Une maison active est essentielle : idéalement avec des adoptants ayant expérience des races travail ou des chiens à hauts besoins. Elle aime jouer avec des balles et serait certainement excellente dans des activités telles que le flyball ou d'autres sports canins qui lui offrent à la fois une stimulation mentale et physique. Jolene pourrait vivre avec des adolescents sensés âgés de 16 ans et plus, et elle a déjà été en présence d'enfants plus jeunes. C'est une jeune fille absolument magnifique qui a rapidement conquis les cœurs ici - si c'était possible, tout le personnel l'emporterait chez eux ! Avec la bonne guidance, structure et compagnie, Jolene a le potentiel d'être une addition incroyable pour une famille engagée et compréhensive.

Stunning Jolene is a truly striking girl, with the most spectacular ears and a look that turns heads wherever she goes. But it’s not just her appearance that makes her special — she’s an intelligent, affectionate young dog with so much potential in the right home. Jolene is a sensitive soul who found life overwhelming in her previous home. She formed an extremely strong attachment to her owner, which led to severe separation anxiety. As her anxiety increased, she began to show reactive behaviours towards strangers, both in the home and out on walks. Since arriving with us Jolene has not displayed any of these behaviours, she is much more relaxed and we are beginning to see the incredible dog she really is underneath her anxiety. One thing that truly brings Jolene to life is other dogs. She absolutely loves canine company and is currently thriving with our daycare family, where she spends time socialising and playing. Being around other dogs is key to her happiness and confidence, and we are looking for a home with at least one confident, well-balanced resident dog to help guide and reassure her. (She has not yet been cat tested.) Jolene will need a home where someone is around for most of the day, at least initially, to continue working on her separation anxiety and help her build independence gradually and positively. She is young, bright, and full of energy. An active home is essential — ideally with adopters who have experience of working breeds or high-drive dogs. She loves playing with balls and would likely excel at activities such as flyball or other dog sports that give her both mental and physical stimulation. Jolene could live with older, sensible teenagers aged 16+, and she has previously been around younger visiting children. She is an absolutely gorgeous girl who has quickly stolen hearts here — if we could, the staff would all take her home themselves! With the right guidance, structure, and companionship, Jolene has the potential to be an incredible addition to a committed and understanding home.
