Murphy est super doux ! Il aime les jouets doux, et il est fou des balles. Il laissera tomber une balle juste à vos pieds prêts à jouer au jeu de cache-cache. C'est un jeune homme très intelligent ! Il apprécie les jeux d'odeurs - retrouver des friandises cachées comme une chasse au trésor et les jouets en forme de Kong rempli. Murphy est affectueux et forme des liens forts, le soir il adore se blottir contre vous sur le canapé. Murphy aime toutes les friandises proposées ; il sait s'assoir, poser une patte, attendre et rester. Il marchera volontiers pendant des kilomètres, et veuillez noter lors de la candidature qu'il est fort en laisse. Ses endroits favoris pour les promenades sont les plages ou les sentiers, et il est heureux de rencontrer et de saluer d'autres chiens en chemin. Murphy protège spécifiquement les chaussettes et les objets ne doivent jamais lui être retirés. Une gestion peut être mise en place afin qu'il n'ait pas à croiser des chaussettes, et si c'est le cas, nous pouvons vous donner des conseils et une formation afin que vous soyez confiant en cas de situation. Murphy trouve le séchage avec une serviette stressant et aura besoin d'une approche calme et douce. Murphy prospère avec une routine et dans l'environnement adéquat et compréhensif, il fleurira. Conditions de maison : Murphy est un Cocker Spaniel de quatre ans qui cherche une maison calme, prévisible et aimante avec des adultes compétents en chiens qui comprennent le comportement, ou sont prêts à apprendre, et continuer avec une formation par renforcement positif. Il souhaite être le seul chien dans la maison, et une maison sans chats, petits rongeurs ou bétail. Murphy aimerait l'opportunité de socialiser avec d'autres chiens en sortant. Il est dressé, il voyage bien en voiture, et il pourrait s'adapter à un foyer assez animé. Murphy est amical avec les visiteurs à la maison et serait heureux avec des enfants venant en visite dès l'âge de onze ans. Murphy is super sweet! He likes soft toys, and he’s ball mad. He will drop a ball right at your feet ready for a game of fetch. He’s a bright lad! He enjoys playing scent games - finding hidden treats like a treasure hunt and doing puzzle toys like a stuffed Kong. Murphy is affectionate, and builds strong bonds, in the evenings he adores snuggling up to you on the sofa. Murphy likes any treats on offer; he knows a sit, paw, wait, and stay. He will happily walk for miles, and please bear in mind when applying that he is strong on his lead. His favourite places to walks are beaches or trails, and he is happy to meet and greet other dogs along the way. Murphy specifically resource-guards socks and items should never be taken off him. Management can be in place so he doesn’t have to come across any socks, and if he does, we can give you guidance and training so you are confident should this arise. Murphy finds towel drying stressful and will need a calm, gentle approach to this. Murphy thrives with a routine and in the right environment and understanding he will flourish. Murphy is a four-year-old Cocker Spaniel looking for a calm, predictable and loving home with dog savvy adults who either understand behaviour, or are willing to learn, and carry on with positive reinforcement training. He is looking to be the only dog in the home, and a home without cats, small furries, or livestock. Murphy would love the opportunity to socialise with other dogs when out and about. He is housetrained, he travels well in the car, and he could cope with a reasonably busy household. Murphy is friendly with visitors to the home and would be happy with visiting children as young as eleven. Murphy had good history of being okay left alone for a few hours at a time. He is happy to be groomed at the groomers.
