Nala est une chienne douce, amicale de 7 ans, un Berger allemand qui apprécie beaucoup la compagnie humaine et l'affection, cherchant volontiers l'attention et se calmant bien une fois à l'aise. Elle est confiante dans les environnements quotidiens tels que le passage du trafic et a fait d'importants progrès pour voyager en voiture, maintenant facilement montant à l'arrière. Elle apprécie les interactions sociales avec d'autres chiens une fois présentée et bénéficiera d'un foyer pouvant continuer à construire des interactions positives. Nala cherche un foyer avec des enfants ayant au moins le niveau du collège. En raison d'une réactivité au collier, nous recherchons des adoptants capables de garder Nala en laisse lors des sorties et elle est plus adaptée à être le seul chien du foyer. Elle ne peut pas vivre avec des chats ; cependant, Nala pourrait potentiellement vivre avec de petits rongeurs s'ils sont tenus séparés. Un foyer ayant une connaissance préalable de la race, ou des adoptants prêts à entreprendre une recherche spécifique à la race serait idéal. Toute absence devra être progressive pour aider Nala à s'installer confortablement.

Nala is a sweet, friendly 8 Year Old German Shepherd who really enjoys human company and affection, happily seeking out attention and settling well once comfortable. She is confident in everyday environments such as passing traffic and has made great progress with car travel, now hopping into the back seat with ease. She enjoys social interaction with other dogs once introduced and would benefit from a home who can continue to build positive interactions. We are sure that with time alongside plenty of adventures and fusses, Nala will grow to be a wonderful addition to a family lucky enough to have her! Nala is seeking a home with secondary school–aged children and above that are confident around bouncy large breeds. Despite having some friendly interactions, Nala can be reactive towards other dogs. She is looking for a family that are happy to keep her on lead when out and about, continuing her training with her social skills as she settles in. Nala would not be suitable to live with cats but could potentially live alongside small furries if they are kept separately from her. Nala would love for her new family to be around most of the time to begin with, building up her time spent alone slowly as she settles in.
