Le premier que nous avons vu, c'est un court vidéo de quelques secondes de Pudding dans un refuge d'abattage en Roumanie. C'était extrêmement bruyant, extrêmement surpeuplé et Pudding était maigre comme un squelette coincé au fond d'une petite cage en bois avec son ami Coco, il tremblait de peur absolue, c'était tout simplement déchirant ! Malheureusement, nous n'avions pas de place pour prendre Pudding immédiatement mais dès que nous l'avons pu, nous l'avons mis directement dans un camion de transport vers le Royaume-Uni. Pudding reste encore très maigre et très craintif. Il reçoit 4 petits repas par jour pendant que nous le construisons progressivement et il aura tout le temps nécessaire pour apprendre à nous faire confiance et espérer enfin se sentir en sécurité. La seule source de réconfort dans la vie de Pudding est les autres chiens. Ce sont les seules choses sur lesquelles il a pu compter et qu'il n'a pas eu à craindre. Il devra être adopté dans une maison avec au moins un autre chien, qui soit gentil, joueur et qui lui montrera le chemin dans la vie. Il ne supporterait pas une maison sans autre chien pour le réconfort. Pudding est trop effrayé pour qu'on puisse lui mettre un collier et une laisse afin de le tester en sécurité avec un chat, donc pour l'instant, nous cherchons une maison pour lui sans chat résident. Pudding est toujours très fermé dans les cages et nous ne pouvons pas avoir une vraie idée de ce que nous pensons être ses niveaux d'énergie. Comme Pudding doit être adopté dans une maison avec au moins un autre chien, nous croyons qu'il irait bien être laissé pendant environ 4 heures. Pudding est toujours absolument terrorisé et est très loin de commencer l'entraînement à la laisse. Pudding n'a aucune forme d'entraînement de base. Tout cela viendra avec le temps une fois qu'il sera installé et qu'il aura pleinement confiance en ses adoptants.

The first we ever saw of Pudding was a few second long video of him in a kill shelter in Romania. It extremely loud, extremely overcrowded and Pudding was skin and bone pinned to the back of a small wooden kennel with his friend Coco, he was shaking with absolute fear, it was absolutely heartbreaking! Unfortunately, we had no space to take Pudding in straight away but as soon as we were able to, we got him straight onto a transport van to the UK. Pudding is still very skinny and very fearful. He's being fed 4 small meals a day whilst we slowly build him up and he'll be given all the time that he needs to learn to trust us and hopefully start to finally feel safe. Puddings only comfort in life is other dogs. They are the only thing that he's been able to rely on and not had to fear. He will need to be adopted into a home with at least one other dog, one that is kind, playful and will show him the way in life. He wouldn't cope in a home without another dog from comfort. Pudding is far too fearful of to be able to put a collar and lead on him to be able to safely cat test him so for the time being, we will be looking for a home for him without a resident cat in the home. Pudding is still very shut down at the kennels and so we're unable to get a true read of what we think his energy levels will be As Pudding will need to be adopted to a home where there is at least one other dog, we believe he'd be fine to be left for around a 4 hour period. Pudding is still absolutely terrified and so is a long way off from starting lead training Pudding has no form of basic training. This will all come in time once he has settled and learnt to fully trust his adopters
