Rosa a été trouvée presque sans vie au bord d'une route dans les montagnes de Serra da Estrela, avec des températures à –2°C. Gelée, affamée et très déshydratée, elle a été sauvée par un ange gardien qui l'a immédiatement emmenée chez le vétérinaire. Une fois réchauffée et offerte à manger, Rosa a mangé avidement, à peine en attendant qu'on pose la nourriture dans une gamelle. À seulement 6 à 7 semaines, Rosa souffrait aussi d'une perte de fourrure causée par la gale. Heureusement, ce n'était pas le type contagieux, et avec un traitement rapide, sa fourrure a déjà commencé à repousser, bien que sa peau ait besoin d'un peu plus de temps pour guérir complètement. On s'attend à ce que Rosa atteigne 15 à 17 kg lorsqu'elle sera adulte. Malgré son départ traumatisant, elle est extrêmement affectueuse et résiliente. Elle adore les gens, apprécie le jeu avec d'autres chiens et a récemment découvert à quel point les jouets peuvent être amusants. Elle est aussi contente de s'asseoir et d'observer le monde autour d'elle. rosa va vraiment bien en apprenant à marcher en laisse. Rosa est actuellement dans un foyer d'accueil, où elle a reçu les soins intensifs nécessaires pour se remettre. Elle est maintenant assez en bonne santé pour être adoptée et prête à prospérer dans un foyer définitif. Elle est une jeune fille joyeuse et sociable qui bénéficierait d'une formation continue et d'un accompagnement d'une famille ayant déjà eu un chien. Rosa est pucée et à jour sur ses vaccinations.

Rosa was found almost lifeless by the side of the road in the Serra da Estrela mountains, with temperatures at –2°C. Freezing, starving, and severely dehydrated, she was rescued by a guardian angel who rushed her straight to the vet. Once warmed and offered food, Rosa ate eagerly—barely waiting for it to be placed in a bowl. At just 6–7 weeks old, Rosa was also suffering from fur loss caused by mange. Thankfully, it was not the contagious type, and with prompt treatment her fur has already begun to grow back, although her skin will need a little more time to fully heal. Rosa is expected to reach 15–17kg when fully grown. Despite her traumatic start in life, she is incredibly loving and resilient. She adores people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has recently discovered how fun toys can be. She’s also content to sit and observe the world around her. rosa is doing really well in learning how to walk on lead. Rosa is currently in a foster home, where she received the intensive care she needed to recover. She is now healthy enough to be adopted and ready to flourish in a forever home. She is a happy, social girl who would benefit from continued training and guidance from a family with previous dog experience. Rosa is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.
