Salem a été admis dans notre garde par réhousing social et est prêt à commencer la recherche de son nouveau foyer ! Salem est un jeune homme indépendant mais affectueux, il apprécie de passer du temps avec les gens, de recevoir des caresses douces sur la tête et de l'attention. Il cherche un foyer où les propriétaires comprennent qu'il a une personnalité timide et aura besoin de son propre espace et de temps pour s'installer et s'adapter à un nouvel environnement. Salem apprécie également une bonne sieste dans un lit confortable et d'observer le monde autour de lui. Salem serait le mieux adapté dans un foyer plus calme et tranquille avec des enfants plus âgés qui apprendront à connaître Salem à son propre rythme. En raison de sa nature, il serait plus adapté à un foyer où, une fois installé, il a la possibilité d'aller et de venir du domicile car c'est un garçon aventureux qui aime explorer ! On ne sait pas comment il réagirait avec d'autres animaux dans le foyer mais il pourrait éventuellement partager son foyer avec un autre chien amical ou chat compatible avec sa personnalité, avec des introductions progressives au sein du foyer.

Salem was admitted into our care through social rehoming and is ready to start the search for his new home! Salem is an independent but affectionate boy, he enjoys spending time around people, getting some gentle head rubs and attention. He is looking to find a home with owners who understand that he has a shy personality and will need his own space and time to settle and adjust into a new environment. Salem does enjoy a good snooze in a comfy bed and watching the world go by around him. Salem would be best suited in a more settled, quiet home with older children who would get to know Salem on his own terms. Due to his nature he would be best suited to a home where once settled, he has the option to go in and out of the home as he is an adventurous boy and loves to explore! It is unknown how he would react around other animals in the home but could possibly share his home with another cat friendly dog or cat of similar personality with gradual introductions in the home.
