Résistance équines – Bruno a un si grand caractère pour un petit bonhomme ! Il n'a pas conscience qu'il est en réalité un cheval ; il pense être un chien et adore jouer avec des balles et des bâtons. Il aime tout le monde, explore tout et renifle notre sanctuaire de résistance équines. Ce petit poney curieux a été sauvé précédemment par un jeune couple bien intentionné au nord de l'île. Ils l'ont eu pendant seulement 3 mois. Ensuite, il est venu nous voir parce qu'il était trop ennuyeux à monter ; il ne pouvait pas suivre leur enfant de 4 ans. La chose amusante est qu'ils avaient tout faux ; Bruno n'est pas du tout ennuyeux, il a un très grand caractère ! Il était simplement désactivé et avait une connexion de douleur et de souffrance au cheval. Il était insensible au fouet, aux jambes et à la poussée. Méthodes utilisées dans son passé misérable. Bruno a trouvé sa voix depuis qu'il est avec nous et est un véritable personnage, toujours en train de faire des bêtises. C'est génial de voir son éclat briller à travers son corps blessé. Ils ont recouvert ses jambes entières de cicatrices à cause d'une grande infection fongique qu'ils ont laissée sans traitement, rendant sa peau épaisse, blanche et inconfortable. Ils l'ont aussi recouvert de petites cicatrices de choses que nous ne voulons pas imaginer, mais la plus évidente est probablement son sexe. Il a une zone privée très agrandie en raison d'un très cruel mode de traitement de ses pulsions avec un fouet, lorsqu'il était encore étalon. Nous ne pouvons pas supporter de penser à la douleur qu'il devait ressentir pendant ce supplice. Ils peuvent le couvrir de cicatrices, mais il est toujours un poney magnifique, intérieurement et extérieurement, et nous sommes super heureux de l'avoir comme membre de la famille de la finca. Bruno est désormais adopté en privé et profite de ses journées au sanctuaire remplies d'amour !

Horse rescue – Bruno has such a big character for such a little man! He doesn't realise that he is actually a horse, he thinks he is a dog, he even loves playing with balls and sticks. He loves everyone, exploring everything and having a sniff at our horse rescue sanctuary. This cheeky little pony was rescued previous to coming to us, by a young well meaning couple in the north of the island. They had him for only 3 months. Then he came to us, because he was too boring to ride. He couldn’t keep up with their 4 year old. The funny thing is they couldn’t be more wrong, he is not boring at all, Bruno has a huge personality! He was just shut down and had a pain and misery connection to riding. He was numb to the whip, legs and pushing. Methods used in his miserable past. Bruno has found his voice since being with us. And is quite the character, always causing mischief. It’s great to see his spark shine through his poor scarred body. They covered his entire legs in scars because of a big fungal infection that they left untreated, therefore making his skin thick, white and uncomfortable. They also covered him in little scars from things we don’t want to imagine, but most probably most obvious is his manhood. He has a very enlarged private area because of a very inhumane way of treating his urges with a whip, back when he was still a stallion. We can’t bear to think about the pain he would have been in whilst dealing with this torture. They may cover him in scars, but he is still such a beautiful pony inside and out and we are super happy to have him as part of the finca family. Bruno is now privately adopted and enjoys his days at the sanctuary filled with love!
