Buddy is a lovely older lad, looking for a home to pamper him in his later years. He is a curious and confident little fella who has been enjoying lots of cuddles and attention. Although he is friendly with other dogs he has met here at the centre, he can get a little over amorous at times so will need to be the only dog at home. Buddy knows a few basic training commands already and will jump straight into the car so he would love a new family who could take him along on trips out. Buddy can live with children of upper primary school age but will need to be the only pet. He is house trained and good when left alone for a couple of hours. Buddy has a mild tracheal collapse which doesn't cause him any significant problems or require treatment, but adopters should be aware that long term management will be required, such as maintaining a healthy weight, using a harness instead of a collar, and monitoring for any changes in breathing or coughing.
