Une fille douce et excitée, Clairo a vécu dans un foyer auparavant et ses propriétaires l'ont décrite comme ayant un côté amusant et joueur. En arrivant à Battersea Brands Hatch, Clairo a eu du mal à s'adapter à la vie en cage et a mis un certain temps pour retrouver confiance. Elle a maintenant trouvé son équilibre et adore courir de grands tours dans nos paddocks. Lors de la rencontre avec d'autres chiens, Clairo n'a pas eu beaucoup de socialisation auparavant et peut donc montrer un mélange d'émotions : stressée, submergée puis parfois trop exubérante dans son style de jeu lorsqu'elle est entourée d'autres chiens. L'équipe de Brands Hatch la soutient avec des présentations douces avec d'autres chiens. Bien qu'elle ne soit pas encore prête à vivre avec d'autres chiens, elle bénéficierait d'un nouveau propriétaire qui continuerait à la socialiser avec eux, en gardant ses trajets de promenade calmes afin de l'aider dans cette formation continue. Bien que Clairo ait déjà vécu avec des enfants, en raison de sa timidité initiale et de son style de jeu exubérant, elle serait mieux adaptée à des adolescents plus âgés qui lui donneront de l'espace quand nécessaire et qui l'aideront dans ses besoins de formation continue. Clairo adorerait un jardin privé pour se rappeler son dressage à la maison, lui offrant de l'espace pour jouer et interagir avec sa nouvelle famille. Elle adore ses promenades et, étant donné son âge, elle bénéficierait de promenades régulières pour rester heureuse et en bonne santé. Clairo est motivée par la nourriture, ce qui rend l'entraînement à la fois amusant et récompensateur – elle est une véritable intelligente qui apprécie l'apprentissage. Elle aime également les jeux de stimulation mentale, donc les jeux et activités d'enrichissement seront très utiles pour la maintenir engagée et pour qu'elle devienne un compagnon joyeux. A sweet and excitable girl, Clairo has lived in a home previously and her owners described her as having a fun and playful side. On coming in to Battersea Brands Hatch Clairo did struggle with kennel life and too some time to build her confidence once more, she has now found her feet and loves nothing more than running big laps in our paddocks. When it comes to meeting dogs, Clairo has not had much socialisation previously and therefore can show a mixture of emotions being stressed, overwhelmed and then becoming at times too much in her play style when around other dogs. The team at Brands Hatch has been supporting her with gentle introductions with dogs and although she is not at the stage to live with a dogs she would benefit from new owners who will continue to socialise her with them, keeping her walking routes quiet will help her with this ongoing training. Although Clario has previous lived with children due to initial worry and the exuberant play style she would be better suited to older teens who will give her space when needed and help with on going training needs. Clairo would love a private garden to remind her of her housetraining, giving her space to play and interaction with her new family. She absolutely loves her walks and given her age, she will benefit from regular walks to keep her happy and healthy. Clairo is food motivated which makes training both fun and rewarding – she’s a smart cookie who enjoys learning. She also loves mental stimulation games, so enrichment games and activities will go a long way to in keeping her engaged and in becoming a fun-loving companion.
