Clive is a handsome chappy, with lots of love to give. He will take his time to approach, but once bonded with you, enjoys a cuddle and a playtime. He would love calm, understanding owners that can give him the time and patience he needs to come out of his shell. Clive will need some support with his house-training, but he walks well on the lead and enjoys his potters around. He will prefer his new family to be around for most of the day while he settles in, as we don't think he's ever been in a real, loving home environment before. This handsome chappy will be such a rewarding companion for a family willing to give him what he needs to thrive. Meet handsome boy, Clive. Clive is a sweet 1.5-year old Lurcher X looking for his forever home. Clive is a gentle angel, who needs adopters to build a relationship on trust. He needs slow and gentle approaches as he is quite worried here in the centre, so any children should be older secondary school aged. Clive would like to be the only dog in the home, as he is still worried and under-socialised, though, he can parallel walk with calm, polite dogs. Clive is quite sensitive to fast movements and loud noises, so will need a quieter home with consistency to ensure he build his confidence. Despite being a worried boy, he is improving everyday and starting to show his true personality. He is a sweetheart, with so much love to give. He gets excited by new places to explore and sniff, and being taught to play! Clive loves to help our team with the laundry here in the centre, and absolutely adores his high value treats (cheese especially!) We can't wait to see Clive in a loving home, where he can thrive and become the brave boy we know he can be.
