Beau Hector cherche un nouveau foyer qui doit avoir une expérience de Lurcher et un jardin pour qu'il se repose. Il aimera la compagnie pendant la journée et faire de belles promenades. Hector préférerait vivre dans une maison de campagne plutôt qu'en ville. Hector est très sympathique avec les visiteurs et s'excite mais se calme rapidement. Il est amical avec les personnes extérieures aussi. Hector est calme avec les enfants lorsqu'ils viennent le caresser. Pendant les promenades, il est également très amical avec les autres chiens, il est joueur et soumis. Il n'a pas tendance à tirer et porte un collier doux. La capacité de rappel d'Hector est moyenne car il aime les friandises comme récompense, mais cela devra être renforcé dans son nouvel environnement. Hector n'aime pas les écureuils ou les chats donc c'est quelque chose à surveiller. Il a aussi peur des feux d'artifice. Hector est bon chez le vétérinaire et chez le toiletteur (il n'a pas d'objection à être lavé et brossé). On peut laisser Hector pendant quelques heures. Il adore la voiture et voyage bien. Il est déjà allé en pension et s'est très bien amusé. Hector aime manger, jouer, courir et socialiser avec d'autres chiens. Hector adore faire une bonne sieste sur le canapé. Handsome Hector is looking for a new home that must have Lurcher experience and a garden for him to relax. He would love company throughout the day and to go for nice walks. Hector would prefer to live in a country home rather than in a town. Hector is very friendly towards visitors and gets excited but quickly calms down. He is friendly with people outside too. Hector is calm with children when they come over to pet him. On walks, he is also very friendly with other dogs, he is playful and submissive. He does not tend to pull and wears a gentle leader lead. Hector’s recall is okay as he likes treats as a reward, but this will need to be reinforced in his new environment. Hector does not like squirrels or cats so this is something to watch out for. He is also scared of fireworks. Hector is good at the vet and the groomers (he does not mind being washed and brushed). Hector can be left for a couple of hours. He loves the car and travels well. He has been to boarding kennels before and had a great time. Hector loves eating, playing, running around and socialising with other dogs. Hector loves a good snooze on the sofa.
