Izzy is looking for someone who is willing to take things slowly, build trust and let her find her feet in her own time. She would benefit from a secure garden and someone with short leaving hours to help her settle in. She is a super sweet girl and once she is comfortable with you, she loves her cuddles. If you are ready to introduce a new pup into your home, and you are willing to continue with training, then Izzy might be the girl for you. Izzy is a 5 month old Whippet crossbreed. Izzy has not had much exposure in her early days, meaning she can find life a little overwhelming. She is a very nervous girl who will need patient, understanding and committed home to help her learn the world isn't such a scary place. She will need to be the only dog in the home as she struggles around other dogs and becomes reactive when she sees them. Due to this, she will need to be walked in quiet areas and adopters would need to be keen to continue training with reactivity and confidence. She could potentially live with older dog-savvy children who can give her the space and patience she needs. She will require some ongoing puppy training, although she was previously house and crate trained.
