Description : Découvrez Joey. Joey est un cockatiel lutino et a 18 mois. Il ne mange toujours pas de morceaux ou de légumes/fruits offerts, cependant cela n'a pas empêché mon essai. Il mange une combinaison de graines maigres et saines, de pâtes Zupreem, de graines Tidymix, de graines de chanvre et de chia et occasionnellement mélangé avec des graines de chanvre ou des orge. Il n'avait jamais quitté sa cage avant d'arriver à Safehouse avec moi il y a 4 semaines, donc il ne savait pas voler. Au cours des 4 dernières semaines, il a maintenant appris à voler, il passe beaucoup de temps hors de sa cage et vole et atterrit très bien, cependant, compréhensiblement, il est encore un peu nerveux mais a fait un très long chemin. Lorsqu'il est arrivé, il faisait le bruit des serpents et mordait, ce qui est tout à fait normal en raison de ses anciennes circonstances de non-interaction avec les humains ou de ne jamais sortir de sa cage. Il ne mord plus mais a parfois un bruit (comportement typique des cockatiels). Il est absolument devenu un petit garçon agréable et plus calme et devient de plus en plus confiant chaque jour. Nous travaillons sur ses marches qui sont encore imprévisibles mais il commence à comprendre. Si vous pensez pouvoir offrir un foyer tendre à ce garçon, cliquez sur le lien pour postuler. Description: Meet Joey. Joey is a lutino cockatiel and is 18 months old. He still won’t eat chops or any veg/fruit offered however it hasn’t stopped me trying. He is eating a combination of lean and fit seed, zupreem pellets, tidymix seed, hemp and chia seed and occasionally mix with either hemp seed or oats. He had never been out of his cage before coming to safehouse with me 4 weeks ago so didn’t know how to fly. Over the 4 weeks he has now learned how to fly, gets plenty of out of cage time and flies and lands great however understandably he is still a little nervous but has come a very long way. When he arrived he was hissing and biting which is completely normal due to his previous circumstances of not interacting with humans or ever coming out of his cage. He no longer bites but has the occasional hiss (typical cockatiel behaviour) He absolutely has become such a pleasant calmer little boy and is more and more trusting everyday.
