A Laika, a sweet and gentle senior Siberian Husky, was surrendered to the shelter by her former owners who moved from a house to an apartment and decided not to take her with them. This decision is deeply unfair to a dog that has never stopped being loyal. Laika is extremely sweet, affectionate, and loves the company of people, easily winning over those who get to know her. She gets along very well with other dogs and walks well on a leash. Unfortunately, as she is already senior, we know her chances of adoption are very low. Most people look for puppies and end up not even noticing her.
