A Laika, a sweet and gentle senior Siberian Husky, was surrendered to the shelter by her former owners who moved from a house to an apartment and decided not to take her with them. This decision is deeply unfair to a dog that has never stopped being loyal. Laika is extremely sweet, affectionate, and loves the company of people, easily winning over those who get to know her. She gets along very well with other dogs and walks well on a leash. Unfortunately, as she is already senior, we know her chances of adoption are very low. Most people look for puppies and end up not even noticing her. Laika deserves a new chance and a home where she can live this stage of her life surrounded by the love and tranquility she has always deserved. She will be surrendered vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.

A Laika foi entregue no abrigo pelos seus antigos tutores, que se mudaram de uma casa para um apartamento e decidiram não a levar consigo. Uma decisão profundamente injusta para uma cadela que nunca deixou de ser fiel. A Laika é extremamente doce, meiga e carinhosa. Adora a companhia das pessoas e conquista facilmente quem a conhece. Dá-se muito bem com outros cães e passeia muito bem à trela. Infelizmente, por já ser sénior, sabemos que as suas hipóteses de adoção são muito reduzidas. A maioria das pessoas procura cachorros e acaba por nem reparar nela. A Laika merece uma nova oportunidade e um lar onde possa viver esta fase da vida rodeada do amor e da tranquilidade que sempre mereceu.Será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
