Lizzie est venue chez nous d'un autre refuge, et nous croyons qu'elle y est arrivée en tant que jeune chienne. Elle a maintenant deux ans et, malheureusement, semble avoir été ignorée par les familles potentielles. Lizzie ne se met pas en avant et est une jeune fille timide et sensible. Lorsqu'elle est arrivée à Live PAWS, elle faisait tout pour éviter les promenades. Cependant, grâce à la patience et au soutien du personnel, elle a progressivement gagné en confiance et est maintenant heureuse de sortir avec ses compagnons de cage, découvrant et appréciant un tout nouveau monde. Elle reste une chienne très réservée. Même avec le personnel qu'elle connaît, on voit qu'elle veut s'approcher, elle n'a besoin que d'un moment de sécurité avant de venir vers l'avant. Tout dépend de la confiance, et à cause de cela, nous recherchons quelqu'un de gentil et patient qui continuera à construire sa confiance à son propre rythme. Nous aimerions vraiment voir Lizzie dans une maison toute seule. En raison de son âge et de sa nature douce, l'adoption est également une option, tous ses frais étant couverts par nous. Tout ce que nous voulons pour Lizzie, c'est la chance de connaître enfin l'amour et la sécurité d'une famille à elle.

Lizzie came to us from another refuge, and we believe she arrived there as a young dog. She is now in her twilight years and, sadly, seems to have been overlooked by prospective families. Lizzie doesn’t push herself forward and is quite a timid, sensitive girl. When she first arrived at Live PAWS, she would do anything to avoid going out for walks. However, with patience and support from the staff, she gradually gained confidence and is now happy to head out with her kennel mates, discovering and enjoying a whole new world. She remains a very reserved dog. Even with staff she knows, you can see she wants to approach , she just needs that moment of reassurance before she comes forward. It’s all down to confidence, and because of this we are looking for someone kind and patient who will continue building her trust at her own pace. We would dearly love to see Lizzie in a home of her very own. Because of her age and gentle nature, fostering is also an option, with all her expenses covered by us. All we want for Lizzie is the chance to finally know the love and security of her own family.
