Over the weekend of July 4th, he was welcomed with open arms by his foster family in Willemsoord (province Overijssel). With them, he will get time to "settle down," after everything he has experienced, the long journey and now arriving in an entirely new world for him. Through his foster family, we are getting to know Lucas better, how he feels and behaves in the Netherlands. When he becomes available for adoption, the information on this page will be expanded! Information, Lucas in Romania: In early May 2026, a few of our team members visited Elisa's shelter in Romania, with whom we work closely together. Only dogs that we expect to thrive in the Netherlands - and their adopters with the dog - are facilitated by us. Lucas is certainly one of them!

In het weekend van 4 juli is hij met open armen ontvangen door zijn gastgezin in Willemsoord (provincie Overijssel). Bij hen krijgt hij de tijd om "te landen", na alles wat hij heeft meegemaakt, de lange reis en nu aangekomen in een voor hem hele nieuwe wereld. Via zijn gastgezin leren we Lucas steeds beter kennen, hoe hij zich in Nederland voelt en gedraagt.Wanneer hij beschikbaar komt voor adoptie, dan wordt de informatie op deze pagina uitgebreid aangevuld! Informatie, Lucas in Roemenië: Begin mei 2026 is een aantal van onze teamleden een week lang op bezoek bij Elisa's asiel in Roemenië, waarmee we nauw samenwerken. Alleen de honden waarvan we verwachten dat ze gelukkig zullen worden in Nederland - en hun adoptanten met de hond - worden door ons bemiddeld. Lucas hoort daar zeker bij!
