Maxi est généralement un jeune homme heureux et confiant qui adore renifler et explorer de nouveaux endroits. C'est un véritable câlin, il aime se blottir sur le canapé avec vous à la fin d'une longue journée. Maxi est aussi un très bon garçon chez le vétérinaire et est content avec une manipulation informelle, comme lorsqu'on lui met sa laisse et son harnais pour ses promenades. Il apprécie vraiment la compagnie humaine et est poli et doux avec tout le monde, c'est juste les chiens très intenses ou à haute énergie qu'il peut encore avoir peur parfois. Maxi peut être réactif envers les autres chiens mais cela peut être facilement géré avec un travail continu de concentration et de désensibilisation - Heureusement, il est un grand amateur de nourriture et répond bien à l'entraînement avec un petit snack savoureux ! Il aime aussi ses jouets et les mordille joyeusement ou joue au jeu de la corde avec une grosse corde ! Nous n'avons qu'une hâte de voir ce charmant monsieur trouver la maison aimante qu'il mérite tant ! Découvrez Maximillian, notre magnifique American Bulldog de 8 ans. Maxi est un charmant type qui cherche simplement une maison où il pourra faire des promenades dans des endroits plus calmes, peu fréquentés par les chiens. Maxi devra être le seul chien du foyer, afin qu'il puisse recevoir tous les câlins et l'attention qu'il mérite ! Lorsqu'il est arrivé chez nous, il était incertain avec les autres chiens, mais c'est un brave garçon qui a travaillé avec notre merveilleuse équipe d'entraînement et maintenant il profite d'une promenade calme en parallèle avec d'autres chiens ! Maxi peut vivre avec des enfants de 14 ans et plus qui sont habitués aux grandes races, car une fois qu'il vous connaît, il adore demander des caresses et se penche entièrement contre vos jambes ! Maxi n'est pas habitué à rester seul à la maison pendant de longues périodes, donc il aura besoin d'une maison prête à augmenter progressivement les heures de laissé seul pendant les premiers mois.

Maxi is generally a happy, confident boy who loves to sniff and explore new places. He is a proper cuddle bug, loving to curl up on the sofa with you at the end of a long day. Maxi is also a very good boy in the vets and is happy with informal handling too, such as having his harness and lead clipped on for his walks. He really just enjoys human company and is polite and gentle with everyone, it is just intense or high energy dogs that he can still be nervous of sometimes. Maxi has worked really hard on his dog social skills and is easily managed with continued focus work - luckily he is a massive foodie and responds well to training with a tasty snack! He also loves his toys and will chomp on them happily or play tug of war with a big rope! We can't wait for this beautiful gentleman to find the loving home he so deserves! Meet Maximillian, our beautiful, soppy 9 year old American Bulldog. Maxi is a lovely chap who is just looking for a home where he can enjoy some peaceful strolls with his humans before snuggling up for a well earned rest. Maxi has done lots of training with our wonderful training team and now enjoys a calm parallel walk with other dogs, but would still prefer to be the only dog in the home. Maxi can live with secondary school children who are used to bigger breeds, as once he gets to know you he loves to ask for fuss and will lean his whole body weight against your legs! Maxi isn't used to being left in the home for long periods of time, so would need a home who are willing to build up his leaving hours slowly in the first few months. He spends some weekends with one of our wonderful foster carers who report he is an absolute dream in the home, so we hope he finds his forever home soon!
