Mike is one of those dogs who becomes angry with the world when abandoned, especially in a shelter where adoption chances vanish. We met Mike at the shelter - he would show his teeth when approached. We decided to give Mike a chance. His first days at our sanctuary weren't easy either, maintaining his angry posture, not wanting to leave his comfort zone. But we helped him understand something better awaited him. Within a week everything changed. This fearful, defiant dog understood what we offered was much better. Now putting on his leash isn't an odyssey - he comes seeking us to put it on. We can pet and touch him, he constantly asks for it! Now he's a stable, balanced dog who has forgotten his abandonment, mistreatment and previous bad life. We seek a family to continue making Mike the happy dog he is now with us.

Mike lleva ya dos años con nosotros en la protectora, y ver la increíble transformación que ha hecho en este tiempo nos llena el corazón. Atrás quedaron la desconfianza y los miedos del principio. Hoy, Mike es un perro completamente renovado, sociable, cariñoso y tremendamente agradecido. Ha aprendido a disfrutar de la vida al máximo y a confiar más en las personas. Su momento favorito del día es cuando ve el coche, al que se sube él solito emocionado porque sabe que empieza la aventura. Le encantan los paseos al aire libre, ya sea explorando los parques o paseando tranquilamente por el paseo marítimo, cruzándose con otros perritos sin ningún problema.
