Les conducteurs d'une route principale dans le Northumberland ont remarqué l'apparition de deux poneys dans un champ isolé à côté de la route et ont appelé la RSPCA. Un poulain jeune était dans un état extrêmement maigre, l'autre un vieil étalon était maigre et couvert de poux, avec une plaie à la jambe non traitée. Tous les efforts pour trouver un propriétaire ont échoué et vu l'état très dénutri du poulain Paddy en particulier, ils ont tous deux été pris en charge. One young colt, was in an extremely emaciated state, the other an older stallion was lean and covered in lice, with an old untreated leg wound.All attempts to find an owner failed and given the severely malnourished state of Paddy the colt in particular, they were both taken into care.Paddy had a very tough time indeed and nearly didn’t make it on more than one occasion.
