Nigel et Norman sont des frères de 3 ans qui ont tristement été confiés à notre garde suite à une rupture. Comme toujours, nous demandons chaleureusement qu'aucun jugement ne soit porté sur les propriétaires des garçons. C'était une décision douloureuse pour eux, et nous sommes extrêmement reconnaissants qu'ils aient eu confiance en nous pour Nigel et Norman plutôt que de risquer qu'ils tombent entre de mauvaises mains. Vendredi, les garçons ont été récupérés par notre merveilleuse bénévole, Davie, qui les a transportés dans leur merveilleuse famille d'accueil avec Nicola et sa famille en Écosse. Globalement, les deux garçons semblent en bonne santé, bien qu'ils aient tous les deux un nez sec, et Norman a quelques petites taches de peau irritée. Espérons que ces problèmes seront rapidement résolus. Comme pour tous nos chiens en famille d'accueil, les deux garçons feront une visite chez le vétérinaire pour un examen complet. Nigel et Norman se sont adaptés magnifiquement à la vie en famille d'accueil, sans doute aidés par leur mutuelle présence pour le confort et le soutien. Nicola a dormi en bas avec eux pendant leurs premiers jours, et chaque matin elle a été accueillie par deux jolis visages désireux de câlin et d'affection. Nigel and Norman are 3-year-old brothers who have very sadly been surrendered into our care following a relationship breakdown. As always, we kindly ask for no judgement towards the boys' owners. This was a heartbreaking decision for them to make, and we're incredibly grateful that they trusted us with Nigel and Norman rather than risking them falling into the wrong hands. On Friday, the boys were collected by our fabulous volunteer, Davie, who transported them to their wonderful foster home with Nicola and her family in Scotland. Overall, both boys appear to be in good health, although they each have a dry nose, and Norman has a few small patches of itchy skin. Hopefully, these are issues we can get on top of quickly. As with all of our foster dogs, both boys will be visiting the vets for a full health check. Nigel and Norman have settled into foster life beautifully, no doubt helped by having each other for comfort and support. Nicola has been sleeping downstairs with them during their first few days, and each morning she's been greeted by two handsome faces eager for cuddles and affection.
