10-05-26 Nigella est venue de l'éleveur et cherche maintenant sa maison pour toujours. C'est une jeune fille très douce qui est compréhensiblement un peu submergée par les changements autour d'elle, mais malgré cela, elle peut souvent être vue avec une petite queue qui remue, ce qui est merveilleux à voir. Nigella n'est pas encore suffisamment courageuse pour s'approcher pour des câlineries, mais elle est très curieuse du monde qui l'entoure et aime regarder tranquillement ce qui se passe. Nous pensons qu'un environnement calme lui permettra de continuer à développer sa confiance et de vraiment commencer à prospérer. Elle cherchera un foyer calme et tranquille où elle pourra s'installer à son rythme. Nous considérerions l'adoption avec des adolescents bienveillants et compétents en matière de chiens, capables de comprendre qu'elle aura besoin de temps et d'espace pendant qu'elle apprend à faire confiance. Nigella adore absolument les autres chiens et trouve beaucoup de réconfort auprès d'eux, donc elle aura besoin d'un autre chien gentil et confiant dans son nouveau foyer pour lui montrer le chemin et l'aider à se sentir en sécurité. Étant donné que Nigella n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, elle aura besoin d'adoptants patients prêts à l'aider à tout apprendre sur la vie en famille, y compris l'entraînement aux toilettes et l'apprentissage à marcher avec une laisse et un harnais. Avec du temps, de la bienveillance et des assurances, Nigella sortira progressivement de sa coquille et fleurira en la plus merveilleuse amie. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident.

10-05-26 Nigella has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for her forever home. She is a very sweet girl who is understandably feeling a little overwhelmed by the changes around her, but despite this she can often be seen with a waggy little tail, which is lovely to see. Nigella isn’t quite brave enough to approach for fuss just yet, but she is very curious about the world around her and enjoys quietly watching what is going on. We feel that in a calm home environment her confidence will continue to grow and she will really begin to thrive. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home where she can settle at her own pace. We would consider homing her with dog savvy, gentle teenagers who can understand that she may need time and space as she learns to trust. Nigella absolutely loves other dogs and gains great comfort from them, so she will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to show her the ropes and help her feel safe. As Nigella has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters who are ready to help her learn everything about home life, including house training and learning to walk on a lead and harness. With time, kindness and reassurance, Nigella will begin to come out of her shell and blossom into the most wonderful friend. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
