FICHE D'ANIMAL : TOUT SUR Poppy (cliquer pour agrandir les aperçus) Voudrais-tu que Poppy soit ta fleur préférée ? Poppy est très affectueuse et a besoin d'attention. Elle est intelligente et enthousiaste, elle a appris à marcher en laisse très rapidement et adore sortir avec nous. Son activité favorite est d'avoir une personne assise à côté d'elle et de passer du temps ensemble, elle veut être caressée et avoir simplement de la compagnie. Elle s'adaptera bien à un foyer où elle pourra avoir de la compagnie la plupart du temps, car elle se détend quand nous ne sommes pas là. Elle trouve très frustrant et seul d'être au refuge, donc nous espérons trouver un foyer pour Poppy. Poppy vivait dans un petit village à la campagne près d'Argos. Nous l'avons prise uniquement pour la stérilisation et les tests, cependant elle a testé positive à la leishmaniose donc nous avons dû la prendre pour lui donner un médicament quotidien. Parfois elle est okay mais si quelque chose la stresse, elle peut grogner puis se jeter sur eux. Elle est un chien très orienté vers les personnes, donc elle est mieux adaptée à être le seul chien. Comportement avec les chats : Elle aboie aux chats mais nous ne sommes pas sûrs si elle les poursuivrait ou les blesserait. She is bright and enthusiastic, she learned to walk on leash very quickly and loves coming out with us. Her favourite thing is to have a person sit with her and spend time together, she wants to be stroked and basically have company. She should settle in well to a home where she can have company most of the time, as she does just relax alone when we are not around. She finds it very frustrating and lonely to be in the shelter, so we hope to find her a home. Poppy was living in a small village in the countryside near Argos. We took her in only for sterilisation and testing, however she tested positive to leishmania so we needed to take her in to give daily medication. Sometimes she is fine but if something stresses her she can get growly then lash out. She is a very people-orientated dog, so she is best suited to being the only dog.
