Avec les personnes qu'il connaît, Rory est extrêmement affectueux et apprécie à la fois le jeu et le fait de se reposer près de vous. Rory peut parfois se sentir submergé, ce qui a entraîné certains comportements réactifs ou frustrés par le passé. Cependant, depuis qu'il est placé dans un foyer d'accueil avec un autre chien joueur, il a fait d'énormes progrès. Avoir un compagnon canin l'a aidé à se sentir plus sûr, et son comportement s'est amélioré considérablement grâce à cela. Il a aussi eu des difficultés avec l'anxiété séparative, mais cela s'est également amélioré grandement maintenant qu'il a un autre chien autour de lui. En raison de cela, Rory aura besoin d'un foyer avec un chien résident aimable et joueur, cette compagne est essentielle pour l'aider à continuer à se sentir installé et confiant. Il est dressé en caddie et s'est très bien comporté dans un environnement domestique. Rory peut parfois être hésitant face aux inconnus et peut être effrayé, donc il aura besoin d'adoptants patients qui lui donneront le temps de construire la confiance. En retour, il offre beaucoup d'amour, de loyauté et de personnalité, c'est un petit chien spécial qui prospérera dans la bonne maison avec un ami canin joueur à ses côtés. Pour cette raison, Rory a besoin d'un foyer avec des adultes ou des enfants de 16 ans ou plus.

Rory is a delightful boy with so much love to give. He’s looking for a patient, committed family who can guide him as he learns the life skills he’s missed out on. With his mix of Sighthound and Bull Terrier traits, Rory is a charming goofball who’s guaranteed to bring laughter and energy into your life. If you’re after a fun-loving, spirited companion who’ll keep you on your toes and brighten your days, Rory could be the perfect match. Rory is a lovable whippet cross with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s a playful, goofy little lad who brings plenty of fun and affection into the home. With people he knows, Rory is incredibly loving and enjoys both playtime and relaxing close by your side. Rory can sometimes feel overwhelmed, which has led to some reactive or frustrated behaviour in the past. However, since moving into a foster home with another playful dog, he has made fantastic progress. Having a canine companion has helped him feel more secure, and his behaviour has improved dramatically as a result. He has also struggled with separation anxiety, but this too has improved greatly now that he has another dog around. Because of this, Rory will need a home with a friendly, playful resident dog, this companionship is key to helping him continue to feel settled and confident. He is housetrained and has been doing really well in a home environment. Rory can be a little unsure around strangers at times and may get spooked, so he’ll need patient adopters who can give him time to build trust. In return, he offers so much love, loyalty, and personality, he’s a special little dog who will thrive in the right home with a playful canine friend by his side. For this reason Rory needs a home with adults or children of 16 or over.
