Meet Takeo, a handsome 3-year-old male Akita with a playful demeanor, who is ready to find his perfect forever home. Takeo is a wonderfully affectionate companion with a gentle soul and a truly lovely personality that shines through the moment you meet him. At three years old, he has reached a beautiful balance of being a loyal, settled protector while still retaining a fun-loving spirit. He absolutely thrives on daily walks, eager to explore the outdoors by your side, and he thoroughly enjoys spending his afternoons tossing around his favourite toys. To live his best life, Takeo requires a loving home with access to a large, securely fenced garden where he can patrol, play, and relax safely. Whether adopted on his own or alongside his best friend Akarie, Takeo promises to be a deeply devoted, companion who will bring immense joy and loyalty to a very lucky family. Takeo currently lives with Akarie, his close companion who is also looking for a new home, and the two get along famously. They share a wonderful bond, and it would be absolutely fantastic to find an adopter willing to keep this lovely pair together so they can continue their adventures as a duo. However, while a joint adoption is the dream scenario, it is not essential; both dogs are independent and loving enough to thrive in separate homes if the perfect individual match comes along. Takeo can be strong on the lead, therefore he needs owners with large breed experience. He is very treat motivated, and showed no sign of food aggression when assessed. Therefore treats will be a great tool with his ongoing training.
