Wallace est un garçon plein de cœur et affectueux. Il recherche un foyer dévoué et expérimenté. Il forme des liens forts avec les gens et a une nature douce et affectueuse qui séduit tout le monde qu'il rencontre. Le personnel décrit Wallace comme un garçon sympathique, un peu simplet, ce qui ajoute à son charme. Il marche bien en laisse et aime sortir, ce qui en fait un excellent compagnon pour quelqu'un qui apprécie les promenades régulières et le temps passé en extérieur. Wallace est assez bruyant et n'hésite pas à s'exprimer, donc sa nouvelle maison devra être compréhensive à cet égard. Il n'est pas très sociabilisé avec les autres chiens, il aura donc besoin d'introductions soigneuses et contrôlées ainsi que d'une formation continue pour l'aider à gagner en confiance et à développer les compétences appropriées avec les autres chiens. Lorsque Wallace est arrivé chez nous, il avait besoin de soins vétérinaires pour un blocage et une entropion (une affection touchant ses paupières), les deux ont maintenant été traités avec succès. Il était toujours un si bon garçon pendant son séjour chez le vétérinaire, même s'il était un peu agité. Il s'est rétabli bien et est prêt à avancer vers un foyer aimant. En raison de sa race mixte et de ses besoins de formation, Wallace nécessitera un propriétaire expérimenté qui s'engage à continuer sa formation et sa socialisation. Il bénéficiera d'un jardin privé sécurisé. Wallace devra être le seul chien du foyer. Comme Wallace est entré dans le foyer en tant que chien errant, nous n'avons pas d'historique antérieur sur lui, nous préférons donc que les enfants du foyer aient 14 ans ou plus.

Wallace is a big hearted, loveable boy. He is looking for a committed and experienced home. He forms strong bonds with people and has a sweet affectionate nature that wins over everyone he meets. Staff describe Wallace as a friendly, slightly dopey boy which only adds to his charm. He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys getting out and about, making him a great companion for someone who likes regular walks and spending time outdoors. Wallace is quite a vocal lad and isn’t shy about expressing himself, so his new home will need to be understanding of this trait. He is under socialised around other dogs, so will need careful, controlled introductions and ongoing training to help him build confidence and appropriate skills around other dogs. When Wallace first arrived with us, he required veterinary care for a blockage and Entropian (a condition affecting his eyelids), both of which have now been successfully treated. He was always such a good boy whilst at the vets although a little wriggly. He has recovered well and is ready to move forward into a loving home. Due to his breed mix and training needs, Wallace will require an experienced owner who is committed to continuing his training and socialisation. He would benefit from a private secure garden. Wallace will need to be the only dog in the home. As Wallace came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years
