Nincs semmi olyan csodálatos, mint egy érett, bölcs német juhász, és Bobica a szürke arany epikéje! Sajnos eldobták a tulajdonosai, valószínűleg azért, mert kutyát vettek helyette, és megoldásuk volt, hogy őt hagyták a utcán, hogy önmagára bízza magát! Megfogták a kutyaszállítók, és egy közösségi menhelyre hozták. Amikor Bobika pozitívat adott Leishmania vizsgálaton, le akarták tenni, de a menhely dolgozói felkerestek egy mentőt, és megmentették, majd áthelyezték a kutyafészekbe, ahol most reménykedve várja azt akitől megkapja megérdemelt otthonát, és kitölti utolsó éveit szeretettel, kényelmmel és örömme. A világ legjobb barátja lesz! Bobica kezdetben kissé óvatos, amikor találkozik veled, de hamar melegszik meg, és nagyon szeretetteljes, amikor elkezd lazítani – kedves, gyengéd és barátságos jellemű. De nem egy ülős kutya, és távolságot igényel, legalábbis addig, amíg teljesen megbízik. Jól megérti más kutyákkal, de csendes lány – főként magára hagyja magát, és nem játszik a többi kutyával a kutyafészkében. Egészségügyileg Bobica állapota meglehetősen jó az életkora és a Leishmaniózisa szempontjából, jól kezelt gyógyszerrel. Nem tudjuk, hogy valaha is élhetett otthon, ezért házi képzésre lehet szüksége, de nagyon okos lány, és hamar utolér mindent. Az ideális otthon Bobicához egy nyugodt család, ahol kielégítik az idős kutyák igényeit, és ott lehet maradni az emberekkel, mert ezt szereti a GSD a leginkább. Bobicának nehéz időszaka volt, ezért térre és megértésre van szüksége a körülötte lévő emberektől. Valószínűleg a legboldogabb lesz a szuburban vagy vidéki környezetben, ahol megvédi a házát, és értesíti a látogatókat. Kastrált, mikrochipezett és teljesen védett.

There is nothing as wonderful as a mature, wise German Shepherd and Bobica is the epitome of grey gold! Sadly she has been discarded by her owners, probably because they bought a puppy instead and their solution was to leave her in the streets to fend for herself! She was caught by dog catchers and brought to a public shelter. When Bobika tested positive to Leishmania she was going to be put down, but the shelter staff reached out to a rescuer and she was saved and moved to kennels, where she is now waiting hopefully for someone, who will give her the otium she deserves and fill her last years with love, comfort and joy. She will be the most loyal friend in the world! Bobica is a little careful at first when you meet her, but she soon warms up and is very affectionate when she starts to relax – she has a lovely, sweet and friendly character. But she is not a lap dog and will need her space, at least until she really trusts. She gets along fine with other dogs but is a quiet girl – she mainly keeps to herself, and does not play with the other dogs in her kennel. Healthwise Bobicas condition is fairly good for her age and her Leishmaniosis appears to be well managed with medication. We don’t know if she has ever lived in a home, so she might need house training, but she is a very clever girl and will soon catch up for lost time. The ideal home for Bobica is a calm household where the needs of an elderly dog will be met and where she can be together with her humans most of the time, because that is what a gsd wants the most. Bobica appears to have had a rough time so she will need space and understanding from the people around her. She will probably be happiest in semirural or rural surroundings, where she will be allowed to protect her home and give notice of arriving guests. Spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
