C'è niente di più meraviglioso di un cane maturo e saggio Pastore Tedesco e Bobica è l'epitome dell'oro grigio! Purtroppo è stata abbandonata dai suoi proprietari, probabilmente perché hanno comprato un cucciolo e la soluzione è stata lasciarla in strada per curarsi da sola! È stata catturata dai guardiani dei cani e portata in un rifugio pubblico. Quando Bobika ha dato positivo per la Leishmaniosi era destinata ad essere soppressa, ma il personale del rifugio si è rivolto a un salvatore e lei è stata salvata e spostata in gabbie, dove ora aspetta con speranza qualcuno che le dia l'otium che merita e che riempia i suoi ultimi anni di amore, conforto e gioia. Saprà essere la più fedele amica del mondo! Bobica è un po' riservata all'inizio quando la incontri, ma presto si riscalda e diventa molto affettuosa quando inizia a rilassarsi - ha un carattere dolce, gentile e simpatico. Ma non è un cane da grembo e avrà bisogno del suo spazio, almeno fino a quando non si fida veramente. Si intende bene con altri cani, ma è una ragazza tranquilla - si tiene quasi sempre per conto suo e non gioca con gli altri cani nella sua gabbia. Dal punto di vista della salute, la condizione di Bobica è abbastanza buona per la sua età e la sua Leishmaniosi sembra ben gestita con la medicina. Non sappiamo se abbia mai vissuto in una casa, quindi potrebbe aver bisogno di addestramento, ma è una ragazza molto intelligente e recupererà presto il tempo perso. La casa ideale per Bobica è un ambiente calmo dove le esigenze di un cane anziano saranno soddisfatte e dove potrà stare con i suoi umani la maggior parte del tempo, perché è ciò che un GSD desidera di più. Bobica sembra aver attraversato un periodo difficile, quindi avrà bisogno di spazio e comprensione da parte delle persone intorno a lei. Probabilmente sarà più felice in aree semirurali o rurali, dove sarà permesso a lei di proteggere la sua casa e di dare notizia degli ospiti che arrivano. There is nothing as wonderful as a mature, wise German Shepherd and Bobica is the epitome of grey gold! Sadly she has been discarded by her owners, probably because they bought a puppy instead and their solution was to leave her in the streets to fend for herself! She was caught by dog catchers and brought to a public shelter. When Bobika tested positive to Leishmania she was going to be put down, but the shelter staff reached out to a rescuer and she was saved and moved to kennels, where she is now waiting hopefully for someone, who will give her the otium she deserves and fill her last years with love, comfort and joy. She will be the most loyal friend in the world! Bobica is a little careful at first when you meet her, but she soon warms up and is very affectionate when she starts to relax – she has a lovely, sweet and friendly character. But she is not a lap dog and will need her space, at least until she really trusts. She gets along fine with other dogs but is a quiet girl – she mainly keeps to herself, and does not play with the other dogs in her kennel. Healthwise Bobicas condition is fairly good for her age and her Leishmaniosis appears to be well managed with medication. We don’t know if she has ever lived in a home, so she might need house training, but she is a very clever girl and will soon catch up for lost time. The ideal home for Bobica is a calm household where the needs of an elderly dog will be met and where she can be together with her humans most of the time, because that is what a gsd wants the most. Bobica appears to have had a rough time so she will need space and understanding from the people around her. She will probably be happiest in semirural or rural surroundings, where she will be allowed to protect her home and give notice of arriving guests. Spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
