Er is niets zo prachtig als een volwassen, wijs Duits Herder en Bobica is het toppunt van goudkleurig grijs! Helaas is ze door haar eigenaars afgewezen, waarschijnlijk omdat ze een puppy hebben gekocht en hun oplossing was om haar in de straten te laten voor zichzelf zorgen! Ze werd opgepakt door hondenvangers en gebracht naar een openbare dierenasiel. Toen Bobika positief testte op Leishmania zou ze zijn gedood, maar het asielpersoneel heeft contact opgenomen met een redder en ze is gered en verhuisd naar kooien, waar ze nu hoopvol wacht op iemand die haar de otium geeft die ze verdient en haar laatste jaren vult met liefde, comfort en plezier. Ze zal de meest trouwe vriendin ter wereld zijn! Bobica is een beetje voorzichtig bij het ontmoeten van je, maar ze warmt snel op en is erg knuffelig als ze begint te ontspannen – ze heeft een liefdevolle, zachte en vriendelijke persoonlijkheid. Maar ze is geen kousenknijper en heeft ruimte nodig, ten minste tot ze echt vertrouwen heeft. Ze verdraagt andere honden goed, maar ze is een rustige meisje – ze houdt zich voornamelijk aan zichzelf en speelt niet met de andere honden in haar kooi. Medisch is Bobicas toestand redelijk goed voor haar leeftijd en haar Leishmaniose lijkt goed onder controle met medicatie. We weten niet of ze ooit in een huis heeft gewoond, dus ze kan misschien hondentraining nodig hebben, maar ze is een erg slimme meid en zal snel de verloren tijd inhalen. Het ideale thuis voor Bobica is een rustig huishouden waarin de behoeften van een oude hond worden vervuld en waarin ze de meeste tijd met haar mensjes kan doorbrengen, want dat is wat een Duits Herder het meest wil. Bobica lijkt een moeilijke tijd achter de rug te hebben, dus ze zal ruimte en begrip nodig hebben van de mensen om haar heen. Ze zal waarschijnlijk het gelukkigst zijn in semi-landelijke of landelijke omstandigheden, waar ze mag beschermen van haar huis en het aankomen van bezoekers aangeven. Gesteriliseerd, ingechippt en volledig gevaccineerd.

There is nothing as wonderful as a mature, wise German Shepherd and Bobica is the epitome of grey gold! Sadly she has been discarded by her owners, probably because they bought a puppy instead and their solution was to leave her in the streets to fend for herself! She was caught by dog catchers and brought to a public shelter. When Bobika tested positive to Leishmania she was going to be put down, but the shelter staff reached out to a rescuer and she was saved and moved to kennels, where she is now waiting hopefully for someone, who will give her the otium she deserves and fill her last years with love, comfort and joy. She will be the most loyal friend in the world! Bobica is a little careful at first when you meet her, but she soon warms up and is very affectionate when she starts to relax – she has a lovely, sweet and friendly character. But she is not a lap dog and will need her space, at least until she really trusts. She gets along fine with other dogs but is a quiet girl – she mainly keeps to herself, and does not play with the other dogs in her kennel. Healthwise Bobicas condition is fairly good for her age and her Leishmaniosis appears to be well managed with medication. We don’t know if she has ever lived in a home, so she might need house training, but she is a very clever girl and will soon catch up for lost time. The ideal home for Bobica is a calm household where the needs of an elderly dog will be met and where she can be together with her humans most of the time, because that is what a gsd wants the most. Bobica appears to have had a rough time so she will need space and understanding from the people around her. She will probably be happiest in semirural or rural surroundings, where she will be allowed to protect her home and give notice of arriving guests. Spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
