Martina egy ideje a utcákon élt, és elég rossz állapotban volt. Egy nő, aki etette, segítséget kérhetett együnk partnerektől, és végül sikerült elkapni őt, mivel ez volt az egyetlen módja annak, hogy elkapják. Amikor először érkezett, nagyon félséges volt, de jelentősen javult. Bár továbbra is egy kicsit bizalmatlan lehet, amikor ismeri és megbízik az emberekben, látod, hogy a bizalom kezd megjelenni, és a szeretetteljes oldala kezd kiemelkedni. Jó mértékű kíváncsisága van, ami gyakran jellemző arra, hogy milyen jól fejlődhet egy podenco egy otthonban. Nagyon jól bánik más kutyákkal, mind fiúval, mind lánnyal, és jól kijönne más kutyákkal az otthonban. Úgy gondoljuk, hogy jó lenne egyedül élő kutya is az otthonban, de minden fogadó számára fontos megérteni, hogy időre és türelemre lesz szüksége. Összességében egy kedves lány, aki nagyon megérdemli az otthont. Van néhány csodás, gondtalan pillanata, amikor futkos és játszik a többi kutyával. Élhetne idősebb tisztelettel rendelkező gyerekekkel, és bár nem szükséges egy kert, inkább kerülné a városközpontot. Martina sterilizált, oltott és negatív eredménnyel lett vizsgálva a mediterrán betegségekre, kivéve az Ehrlichia-t, amit már kezeltek, így újra lehet vizsgálni a teljes rendben lévéshez. Martina had been living on the streets for some town and was in quite a bad state. A lady who was feeding her asked one of our partner kennels for help and they eventually managed to trap her as it was the only way to catch her. When she first arrived she was very fearful, but has really improved. Whilst she can still be a little suspicious, with people she knows and trusts, you see her confidence start to shine and her affectionate streak comes out. She has a good amount of curiosity which is often a hallmark for how well a podenco might progress in a home. She is great with other dogs both male and female and would do well with other dogs in the home. We do also think she would be OK as an only dog in the home, but any adopter would need to recognise that she will take a little bit of time and patience. Overall she is a lovely girl who is very deserving of a home. She has some lovely carefree moments when she is running and playing with the other dogs. She could live with older respectful children, and whilst she doesn’t need a garden, would prefer not to be in a city centre. Martina is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Ehrlichia which she has already received treatment for, so we can retest for the all clear.
