Trinity egy közepes méretű keresztkorú, kb. két-három éves. Még nem vizsgált. Könnyebb lenne egyedül élő kutyaként. Óvatos néhány férfival szemben. Női háztartás a legjobb. Gyermekek 12 éves kor felett. Találkoztam Trinitynel egy román menhely látogatásán 2022 októberében. A sztrádon élő, több más kutyával, és várandós volt, sajnos nem az első alkalommal. Amikor a mentő bevitte a menhely kerítésén belüli, megkérdezte, hogy felvennénk-e őt, természetesen beleegyeztünk. Sajnos a szomszédok nem voltak barátságosak a kutyákkal ezen a sztrádon, kövekkel dobálták őket elűzni, mert nem akarták őket ott. Ennek eredményeként Trinity nagyon óvatos a férfiakkal szemben, és megbarkacsolja őket. Idővel megtanulhat bízni bizonyos férfiakban, de sajnos ezeket a emlékeket nem tudjuk teljesen eltüntetni. Ideális lenne egy kizárólag női család, de egy nagyon türelmes és megértő férfi is nyerheti meg a bizalmát idővel. Csak a barkolásról van szó, mintha figyelmeztetné a többieket, hogy valaki férfi van itt, és ők félniük kellene, de a többiek figyelmen kívül hagyják és folytatják a napjukat. Trinitynél jelenleg több kutyával él, és általában rendben van. Egy kicsit irigy lehet a ételre és a figyelemre, így talán egyedül élő ház lenne könnyebb. Szüksége van olyan otthonra, amelyben nincsenek 12 éven aluli gyermekek. Trinitynél jól viseli magát a vezetékkel, és szereti új otthoni életét. Trinitynél Norwich Norfolk fogadószülők. Ha érdekel, küldj üzenetet vagy hívd a 9-5-ig hétfőtől péntekig, vagy 9-4-ig szombaton. Állatorvosi adománydíj: Kutyák már sterilizáltak és minden felnőtt kutya: 430 font. Nem sterilizált kutyák szaporítási szerződéssel: 530 font (100 font visszatérítést kapsz, amikor küldöd nekünk a sterilizálás igazolását). Idős kutyák (10+ év): 150–250 font (a kor és az egyéni igényektől függően). Állatvételi Feltételek Amikor egy Safe Rescue kutyát veszel örökbe, kötelező használnod egy csúszó vezetéket. Ez biztosítja a kutyád biztonságát: a mostani kutyád ideges lesz, nem bízik meg benne, és nem tudod, milyen helyzetek lehetnek kellemetlenek a kutyádnak. Ha a kutyád pánikba esik, akkor a csúszó vezető az egyetlen módja annak, hogy megakadályozd, hogy elmenjen (sok kutya képes elszabadulni egy nyakörvből és/vagy mellényből). Legalább 3-6 hónapra lesz szükség a kutyádnak ahhoz, hogy megszokja a helyet, és teljesen ismerd a kutyádat (hosszabb ideig tart a nyugtalankodó kutyáknál). A csúszó vezetőt mindenképpen használni kell ebben a települési időszakban. Még akkor is, ha a kutyád megszokta a helyet, biztonságosabb, ha a csúszó vezetőt használod olyan helyzetekben, ahol a kutyád félni kezdhet (pl. új helyek látogatása, ismeretlen emberek körül, orvosnál), valamint olyan helyzetekben, ahol váratlan trigger-ek történhetnek (pl. tűzijáték ideje körül). A nyugtalankodó kutyáknak mindig szükségük lehet a csúszó vezetőre, mint biztonsági megoldás. A csúszó vezető egy biztonsági eszköz, és soha nem szabad használni edzés céljából. A vezető alkalmazása a kutya nyakának nyomására káros. Ha a kutya a vezetőre húz, akkor tanácsot adhatunk olyan edzési módszerekről, amelyek nem okoznak kárt. Miután a kutyád megszokta a helyet, érdemes lehet egy mellényt (a csúszó vezetővel együtt) használni, ha a kutya kényelmesen viseli a mellényt. A legtöbb mellény nem ellenáll a szökésnek, de a mellények, amelyeknek van egy sávja a bordák mögött (pl. Ruffwear Webmaster vagy Perfect Fit mellények) biztosabbak. A húzható / kiterjeszthető vezetőket soha nem szabad használni a mi kutyáinkon. Az örökbefogadott kutyákat a mentőből kell gyűjteni, és azonnal hazaszállítani egy biztonságos acél ládában. Children 12 plus I met Trinity during a trip to a Romanian shelter back in October last year. She was living outside on the street along with a few other dogs and was pregnant, not for the first time sadly. When the rescuer captured her inside the gates of the shelter she asked if we would take her and of course we agreed. Unfortunately the neighbourhood were not kind to the dogs in that street and would throw rocks at them to chase them away as they didn’t want them around. As a result of this Trinity is extremely wary of men and will bark at them. In time she can learn to trust individual men but we sadly cannot erase these memories altogether. Ideally an all female home would be best but a very patient and understanding man could win her trust over time. It is only barking, it’s like she’s trying to warn the others that there’s a man around and they should be scared, the others ignore her and carry on with their day lol. Trinity is currently living with many other dogs and for the most part is ok. She can be a little jealous over food and fuss though so maybe a home as the only dog would be easier. She would need a home with no children under the age of twelve. Trinity walks nicely on a lead and is loving her new domestic life. Trinity fostered Norwich Norfolk. Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
