Angel è stato salvato da una situazione davvero inimmaginabile. Trovato in uno stato di profondo shock, aveva sopravvissuto in un ambiente circondato da cani morti e resti scheletrici. Quando è arrivato nel nostro rifugio partner, era estremamente magro, disidratato e emotivamente chiuso. Rumori forti e movimenti improvvisi lo terrorizzavano e spesso si ritirava dal contatto umano. La sua guarigione è stata lenta ma costante. Con pazienza, cure e sessioni di costruzione della fiducia dolce, ha imparato che la gentilezza esiste. Ora capisce che il cibo arriva regolarmente, che gli umani possono essere dolci e che è finalmente al sicuro. Ora ama le passeggiate regolari. È buono con il traffico, anche se un po' diffidente rispetto ai camion. È socievole con altri cani e spesso cerca loro conforto. Angel cerca un adottatore calmo e paziente con esperienza con cani nervosi. Una casa tranquilla (la vita in città non gli si addice) con un compagno cane per aiutarlo a costruire ulteriore fiducia. Angel sta portando un po' di peso extra per il momento, quindi i suoi adottatori dovranno aiutarlo a dimagrire delicatamente con una routine sana. Angel ha subito molto più di quanto dovrebbe un cane. Ora merita pace, amore e una casa per sempre dove può continuare a guarire. Angel was rescued from a truly unimaginable situation. Found in a state of deep shock, he had survived in an environment surrounded by deceased dogs and skeletal remains. When he arrived at our partner shelter, he was severely underweight, dehydrated and emotionally shut down. Loud noises and sudden movements terrified him, and he oftern withdrew from human contact. Angel’s healing has been slow but steady. With patience, care and gentle trust-building sessions, he’s learned that kindness exists. He now understands that food comes regularly, that humans can be gentle and he is finally safe. He now enjoys regular walks. He’s good with traffic, although a little wary of lorries. He’s sociable with other dogs and often looks to them for reassurance. Angel is looking for a calm, patient adopter with experience of nervous dogs. A quiet home (city life would not suit him) with canine companion(s) to help him continue to build confidence. Angel is carrying a little extra weight at the moment, so his adopters will need to help him gently slim down with a healthy routine, Angel has endured more than any dog should. Now he deserves peace, love and a forever home where he can continue to heal. He may not rush to greet you, but if you’re willing to earn his trust, the bond will be extraordinary. Angel arrived to a foster home in the UK in July where he is blossoming with the help of doggy companions, Angel is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases.
