Angel fue rescatado de una situación verdaderamente inimaginable. Lo encontraron en un estado de profundo shock, había sobrevivido en un entorno rodeado de perros muertos y restos óseos. Cuando llegó a nuestro refugio asociado, estaba muy delgado, deshidratado y emocionalmente cerrado. Los ruidos fuertes y los movimientos repentinos lo asustaban, y a menudo se retiraba del contacto humano. La recuperación de Angel ha sido lenta pero constante. Con paciencia, cuidado y sesiones suaves de construcción de confianza, está aprendiendo que la bondad existe. Ahora entiende que la comida llega regularmente, que los humanos pueden ser tiernos y que finalmente está a salvo. Ahora disfruta de paseos regulares. Es sociable con el tráfico, aunque un poco desconfiado con los camiones. Es sociable con otros perros y a menudo busca su apoyo. Angel busca un adoptante tranquilo y paciente con experiencia en perros nerviosos. Una casa tranquila (la vida en la ciudad no le convendría) con compañeros caninos para ayudarle a seguir construyendo confianza. Angel actualmente recibe tratamiento para una condición de piel. Angel was rescued from a truly unimaginable situation. Found in a state of deep shock, he had survived in an environment surrounded by deceased dogs and skeletal remains. When he arrived at our partner shelter, he was severely underweight, dehydrated and emotionally shut down. Loud noises and sudden movements terrified him, and he often withdrew from human contact. Angel’s healing at the shelter was slow but steady. With patience, care and gentle trust-building sessions, he learned that kindness exists. He now understands that food comes regularly, that humans can be gentle and he is finally safe. He began to enjoys regular walks. He’s good with traffic, although a little wary of lorries. Angel moved to a foster home in the UK in July and he has continued to blossom. He is really enjoying being part of an adult only family which includes two other well balanced dogs who provide reassurance and gentle play. He enjoys squirrel patrol in the garden, absolutely loves walks in nature, but also likes curling up for a snooze with the other dogs. Angel is looking for a calm, patient adopter who can help him continue to build his confidence. He would also need another dog in the home and to live in a quiet area. He would prefer to have someone home most of the time, and someone active who would love to go on long walks and adventures. Angel has endured more than any dog should. Now he deserves peace, love and a forever home where he can continue to heal. He may not rush to greet you, but if you’re willing to earn his trust, the bond will be extraordinary.
