Bowie è un incrocio di piccole e medie dimensioni con circa due anni di età. Non ancora testato con i gatti ma può esserlo. Ha bisogno di un cane residente. Bambini rispettosi 12 anni in su. Bowie è nato in Romania in un branco di cani posseduti da un uomo che ha rifiutato di castrare alcuno dei cani o di farli visitare dal veterinario quando ne avevano bisogno. C'erano una continua scia di cuccioli dopo i cuccioli. A un certo punto, c'erano 90 cani tenuti in un rimorchio. Quindi la polizia li sequestrò e due madri e diciassette cuccioli furono portati in un sicuro rifugio privato, tra cui Bowie... Bowie è un dolce ragazzone che, dopo un iniziale leggero timore, è molto amorevole e fedele. Bowie si intende bene con altri cani e avrà bisogno di almeno un altro cane come residente permanente nella sua casa per sempre. Bowie può vivere con bambini rispettosi di 12 anni in su. Bowie è stato in affidamento con Norwich Norfolk. Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 da lunedì a venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 il sabato. Le quote di adozione sono: Cuccioli già castrati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non castrati con contratti di castrazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della castrazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150-£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Termini e condizioni di adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, devi usare necessariamente un guinzaglio a scorrimento. Questo terrà il tuo cane al sicuro: il tuo nuovo cane sarà ansioso e non ti farà fiducia, e tu non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero turbare il tuo cane. Se il tuo cane panica, allora un guinzaglio a scorrimento è l'unica via per impedire al cane di scappare (molti cani possono scappare da collare e/o imbracatura). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far abituare il cane e conoscere completamente il cane (più a lungo per cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scorrimento deve essere SEMPRE utilizzato durante il periodo di abituamento. Anche dopo che il cane si è abituato, è più sicuro utilizzare il guinzaglio a scorrimento in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio, visitando luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni dove potrebbero verificarsi trigger inaspettati (ad esempio, intorno al fuoco d'artificio). I cani nervosi potrebbero dover indossare sempre un guinzaglio a scorrimento come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scorrimento è un dispositivo di sicurezza e non deve MAI essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Utilizzare il guinzaglio per applicare pressione sul collo del cane è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, allora possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Una volta che il cane si è abituato, potresti voler considerare di utilizzare una cingia (insieme al guinzaglio a scorrimento) se il cane è comodo nel fargli indossare la cingia. La maggior parte delle cingie non è antifuga, ma quelle con una cingia dietro le costole (es. Ruffwear Webmaster o Perfect Fit Harnesses) sono più sicure. I guinzagli retrattili / estensibili non devono mai essere utilizzati sui nostri cani. Bowie is a small to medium sized crossbreed aged around two years old. Not yet cat tested but can be. Needs resident dog. Children respectful 12plus. Bowie was born in Romania into a pack of dogs owned by a man who refused to neuter any of the dogs or any get them any other vet help they needed. There were a never ending stream of puppies after puppies. At some point, there were 90 dogs kept in a caravan. So the police confiscated them and two mums and seventeen pups were taken to a safe private shelter, amongst them was Bowie…. Bowie is an adorable little chap who, after initial bit of slight timidness, is very loving and loyal. Bowie gets on well with other dogs and will need at least one other dog as permanent resident in his forever home. Bowie could live with respectful children aged twelve plus. Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
