Dallas è un incrocio di media taglia di circa diciotto mesi. Non ancora testato con i gatti. Può vivere con o senza altri cani. Bambini rispettosi e robusti di età 10 anni in su. Dallas si è unito a noi nel Regno Unito da poco tempo da un rifugio privato in Romania. È stato inizialmente salvato da una lista di eliminazione in un rifugio pubblico circa un anno fa. Dallas è un ragazzo molto amichevole ed entusiasta che è semplicemente felice di stare intorno agli umani. Avrà bisogno di alcuni basic training ma è desideroso di imparare e di piacere. Si intende molto bene con gli altri cani ma potrebbe anche essere l'unico cane in casa purché abbia molte opportunità di gioco con altri cani durante le passeggiate. Dallas è un po' troppo vivace per bambini molto piccoli ma andrebbe bene con bambini rispettosi e robusti di età 10 anni in su. Dallas ha adottato Norwich Norfolk. Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 dal lunedì al venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 il sabato. Le quote di adozione sono Puppies già castrati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Puppies non castrati con contratti di castrazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della castrazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150–£250 (a seconda dell'età e delle esigenze individuali). Condizioni generali per l'adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI utilizzare una guinzaglio a scatto. Questo terrà sicuro il tuo cane: il tuo nuovo cane sarà timido e non ti farà fiducia, e non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero agitare il tuo cane. Se il tuo cane si spaventa, allora un guinzaglio a scatto è l'unica via per evitare che scappi (molti cani possono scappare da collari e/o pettorine). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far adattare il tuo cane e per conoscerlo pienamente (più a lungo per i cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scatto deve SEMPRE essere usato durante questo periodo di adattamento. Anche dopo che il cane si è adattato, è più sicuro usare il guinzaglio a scatto in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio visitando luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni dove potrebbero verificarsi scatenanti inaspettati (ad esempio intorno alla notte dei fuochi d'artificio). I cani nervosi potrebbero dover indossare sempre un guinzaglio a scatto come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scatto è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai deve essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Usare il guinzaglio per applicare pressione sul collo del cane è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Dallas is a medium sized crossbreed aged around eighteen months old. Not yet cat tested. Can live with or without other dogs. Respectful and robust children aged 10 plus. Dallas has joined us in the UK recently from a private shelter in Romania. He was initially rescued from a kill list at a public shelter around a year ago. Dallas is a super friendly and enthusiastic boy who is just delighted to be around humans. He will need some basic training but is keen to learn and eager to please. He gets on brilliantly with other dogs but could also be the only dog in the home as long as he has plenty of play time with other canines out on walks. Dallas is a little too boisterous for very young children but would be fine with respectful and robust children aged ten plus. Dallas fostered Norwich Norfolk. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
