Dante è un incrocio di piccole e medie dimensioni con un'età di circa due a tre anni. Ha fallito il test con i gatti. È necessario un cane residente. Bambini rispettosi da 12 anni in su. Probabilmente ha del Corgi e del Spaniel nel suo mix ed ha un corpo lungo e gambe corte. Dante proviene da un branco di cani per strada nella Romania, in un'area dove tutti i cani erano maltrattati e molti avevano arti fratturati quando sono stati salvati. Fortunatamente Dante non aveva ferite gravi, ma tutti i cani salvati sono comprensibilmente cauti con le persone nuove. Quando gli viene dato tempo per conoscerti, Dante è un ragazzone dolce e vivace con tanta voglia di amare. Dante vive in una casa con più cani e si intende bene in un branco. Avrà bisogno di almeno un altro cane residente a tempo pieno nella sua nuova casa. Non va d'accordo con il gatto del rescue e la sensazione è reciproca. Può vivere con bambini rispettosi di 12 anni in su. Dante ha fatto da allevatore a Norwich Norfolk. Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 dal lunedì al venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 sabato. Le quote di adozione sono: cuccioli già sterilizzati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non sterilizzati con contratti di sterilizzazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della sterilizzazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150-£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni Generali di Adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI usare un guinzaglio a scorrimento. Questo terrà il tuo cane al sicuro: il tuo nuovo cane sarà ansioso e non ti farà fiducia, e tu non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero turbare il tuo cane. Se il tuo cane panica, allora un guinzaglio a scorrimento è l'unica via per impedire al tuo cane di scappare (molti cani possono scappare da collare e/o pettorina). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far abituare il tuo cane e conoscere il tuo cane completamente (più tempo per cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scorrimento deve essere SEMPRE utilizzato durante il periodo di abituamento. Anche dopo che il tuo cane si è abituato, è più sicuro usare il guinzaglio a scorrimento in situazioni in cui il tuo cane potrebbe spaventarsi (es. visitando luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger inaspettati (es. intorno alla notte dei fuochi d'artificio). I cani nervosi potrebbero sempre dover indossare un guinzaglio a scorrimento come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scorrimento è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai deve essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Applicare pressione sul collo del cane con il guinzaglio è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Una volta che il tuo cane si è abituato, potresti voler considerare l'utilizzo di una pettorina (insieme al guinzaglio a scorrimento) se il cane è comodo con l'equipaggiamento. Dante is a small to medium sized crossbreed aged around two to three years old. Failed cat testing. Need resident dog. Respectful children 12 plus. He possibly has corgi and spaniel in his mix and has a long body on short legs. Dante came from a pack of dogs on the streets in Romania, in an area where all of the dogs were abused and many had broken limbs when rescued. Thankfully Dante bore no serious physical injuries, but all of the dogs saved are understandably wary of new people. When given time to get to know you Dante is a sweet and cheeky chap with a lot of love to give. Dante is living in a multi dog household and gets on well in a pack. He will need at least one other dog in full time residence in his new home. He is not ok with the safe rescue cat and the feeling is quite mutual. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
