Faceva parte di una famiglia di cani randagi che nutrivamo quotidianamente, Dex era il padre di una cucciolata vulnerabile. Quando i villaggi locali iniziarono a avvelenare i cani randagi, abbiamo agito rapidamente. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a salvare tutti, ma siamo riusciti a salvare Dex e suo unico cucciolo sopravvissuto, Benny. Fin dal primo momento in cui è arrivato nel nostro cura, la forza e la resilienza di Dex erano chiare. I test hanno rivelato una infezione da cuorismi, che è attualmente in trattamento. Sta per recuperare completamente e sarà pronto per viaggiare una volta che i suoi risultati saranno chiari. Salvato nel maggio 2025, Dex sta vivendo bene grazie al dedicato supporto dei suoi addestratori. Con sessioni regolari di addestramento, struttura e supporto costante, ha fatto ottimi progressi. Man mano che si sentiva al sicuro, Dex ha iniziato a giocare come un cucciolo, finalmente libero di rilassarsi e godersi la vita. Il suo naturale affetto e la sua intelligenza stanno emergendo sempre di più ogni giorno e il suo addestramento continua a svilupparsi settimana dopo settimana. Al momento dell'adozione, Dex sarà ancora più sicuro e pronto per la sua nuova fase. Dex è un vero pastore tedesco da lavoro: intelligente, fedele e profondamente devoto alle sue persone. Ha istinti naturali di protezione e prende il suo ruolo molto seriamente, rendendolo un protettore affidabile della casa. Importante, sta imparando a valutare situazioni bene e ha dimostrato di capire quando i visitatori sono benvenuti.

Once part of a family of street dogs we fed daily, Dex was the father of a vulnerable litter. When local villagers began poisoning street dogs, we acted quickly. While we sadly couldn’t save them all, we managed to rescue Dex and his only surviving pup, Benny . From the moment he arrived in our care, Dex’s strength and resilience were clear. Testing revealed heartworm, which is currently being treated. He is nearing full recovery and will be ready to travel once his results are clear. Rescued in May 2025, Dex has been thriving under the care of his dedicated handlers. With regular training sessions, structure, and consistent support, he has made wonderful progress. As he began to feel safe, Dex started playing like a puppy, finally free to relax and enjoy life. His affectionate and clever nature is shining through more each day and his training continues to develop week by week. By the time he is adopted, Dex will be even more confident and prepared for his next chapter. Dex is a true working-line German Shepherd: intelligent, loyal and deeply devoted to his people. He has natural guarding instincts and takes his role seriously, making him a reliable protector of the home.
