Edie è una giovane femmina di Bulldog Francese di circa 2 anni. È una piccola donna molto dolce, carina e intelligente, va d'accordo con le persone ma non è una grande fan degli altri cani né di troppa confusione e trambusto, quindi stiamo cercando un ambiente domestico particolare per lei. È arrivata da noi alcuni mesi fa, ma è entrata in calore, il che ha ritardato la sua sterilizzazione e la sua adozione. Dal lato positivo, questo ci ha dato l'opportunità di conoscerla bene e di capire di cosa ha bisogno, quindi sappiamo molto sul tipo di ambiente domestico che funzionerà per lei. Edie è una piccola donna attiva e ha bisogno di molto esercizio regolare e di un arricchimento adeguato. Avrà bisogno di un paio di belle passeggiate ogni giorno, ricche di esplorazione e di annusate, oltre a giochi e giochi con puzzle. Sta andando bene con l'addestramento in gabbia e con l'educazione alla pulizia della casa, e chiunque la adotti dovrà essere pronto a continuare su questa strada. Può passare del tempo da sola ed è piuttosto felice di restare tranquilla mentre il suo umano lavora o si dedica a piccole faccende. Tuttavia, ama la compagnia e, sospettiamo, nella sua vita precedente ne ha avuta poca; cerchiamo quindi una casa dove il suo umano sia presente gran parte del tempo, che lavori da casa (in futuro) e/o a tempo parziale. Viaggia benissimo in auto ed è sempre pronta a un'avventura! Adora il cibo, ma non tutti le vanno bene, quindi dovremo fornire indicazioni su un alimento adatto a lei. Può essere molto entusiasta quando mangia, perciò la sua mamma affidataria usa una bottiglia di plastica, Kong, tappetini leccabili o altri modi per offrirle arricchimento, e pratica anche la somministrazione sparsa del cibo. Edie può essere reattiva verso altri cani quando è al guinzaglio. Per questo cerchiamo un'area tranquilla per la sua casa definitiva, idealmente una zona rurale o una località suburbana molto tranquilla e matura. Nella casa affidataria ha accesso sia a una zona suburbana trafficata sia a una più tranquilla e rurale, e si trova infinitamente meglio nella casa rurale, dove è molto più rilassata. Cerchiamo una casa di adulti senza altri cani e con una dimora più tranquilla, senza continui via vai. Ama anche masticare: ha diversi Nylabone, corna di bufalo e simili, ma troverà altro da mordicchiare se non le verranno forniti masticativi adatti. Adora anche il suo tappetino leccabile, sul quale è felice di lavorare una volta che è stato spalmato di bocconcini appropriati. Edie è una compagna adorabile e una piccola donna molto dolce, orientata alle persone. Ha bisogno di un aiuto continuo per sentirsi a suo agio con altri cani e in situazioni nuove, ma possiamo fornire pieno supporto e guida in questo. Edie è molto affettuosa con i suoi umani e ama stare seduta accanto a voi sul divano, o giocare, semplicemente stando vicina a voi. Edie è una compagna fantastica e godrà di una vita divertente e ricca di avventure con la sua nuova famiglia, nell'ambiente giusto. La sua casa ideale: sarà in una zona rurale o in una località suburbana molto tranquilla; sarà una casa di adulti senza altri cani; non ci saranno bambini piccoli residenti o in visita; avrà una casa con giardino dove potrà curiosare ed esplorare; sarà un luogo dove qualcuno lavora da casa o, al massimo, a tempo parziale se lavora fuori casa; sarà una persona impegnata a darle tempo per ambientarsi dopo l'ennesimo cambiamento e a concederle molta pazienza, comprensione e spazio per trovare il suo equilibrio; fornirà molto esercizio regolare e arricchimento adeguato; continuerà a lavorare con noi per aiutarla ad ambientarsi nella sua nuova casa. Edie is a little French Bulldog female aged about 2 years. She is a very sweet, cute and clever little lady and is good with people but not a fan of other dogs or too much hustle and bustle so we are looking for a particular home environment for her. She came into our care some months back but came into season so this delayed her neutering and her adoption. On the plus side this means that we have had an opportunity to learn a lot about her and her needs so we know a lot about the type of home environment that will work for her. Edie is an active little lady and needs plenty of regular exercise and appropriate enrichment. .She will need a couple of good walks, full of exploration and sniffing, each day, with some play and puzzles too. She is doing well with crate training and house training and any adopters will need to be prepared to continue with this. She can spend some time alone and is quite happy to hang out while her human works or potters. However, she loves company and did not have much of this we suspect in her previous life and so we are looking for a home for her where her human is around much of the time and will be working from home (in the future) and/or on a part-time basis. She is great in the car and is always up for an adventure! She loves her food but not all food agrees with her so we will need to provide guidance on a food that works for her. She can be overenthusiastic when eating so her foster mum uses a plastic bottle, kongs, lick mats or other ways to provide enrichment and also uses scatter feeding for her. Edie can be reactive to other dogs on lead. As such we are looking for a quiet area for her forever home, ideally a rural area or a very quiet, mature suburban location. In her foster home she has access to both a busy suburban area and a quieter, more rural one and does infinitely better in the rural home where she is much more relaxed. She will be looking for an adult home with no other dogs and a quieter home without lots of comings and goings. . She loves a good chew . She has a few nylabones , buffalo horns etc but will find other things to chew if she is not provided with suitable chewables. She loves her lickmat too so is happy to work away on that once it has been laced with suitable yummies. Edie is a lovely companion and a very sweet people-oriented little lady. She needs some continuing help with comfort with other dogs and new situations but we can provide full support and guidance on this. Edie is very affectionate with her humans and loves to sit with you, hanging out on the sofa beside you or playing, just being close to you. Edie is fully vaccinated and microchipped (981020000951776) and she will be neutered before going to her forever home. Edie is a fantastic companion and will enjoy a fun and adventure filled life with her new family in the right environment.
