Edie es una perra francesa pequeña de unos 2 años. Es una dama muy dulce, bonita y inteligente y se lleva bien con las personas pero no es fan de otros perros o de mucho movimiento y bullicio, por lo tanto estamos buscando un entorno específico para ella. Ella entró en nuestro cuidado hace algunos meses pero entró en celo, lo que retrasó su castración y adopción. Por el lado positivo, esto significa que hemos tenido la oportunidad de aprender mucho sobre ella y sus necesidades, por lo que sabemos cuál es el tipo de entorno que funcionará para ella. Edie es una dama activa y necesita mucha ejercicio regular y enriquecimiento adecuado. Necesitará dos buenas caminatas al día, llenas de exploración y olfateo, además de jugar y resolver acertijos. Está haciendo bien con el entrenamiento en jaula y con el entrenamiento en casa y los adoptantes deberán estar preparados para continuar con esto. Puede pasar algún tiempo sola y está contenta estando presente mientras su humano trabaja o hace cosas. Sin embargo, ama la compañía y sospechamos que no tuvo mucha en su vida anterior, por lo tanto estamos buscando un hogar para ella donde su humano esté presente gran parte del tiempo y vaya a trabajar desde casa (en el futuro) y/o a tiempo parcial. Edie es excelente en el coche y siempre está dispuesta para una aventura. Le encanta su comida pero no todo le sienta bien, por lo tanto necesitaremos proporcionar orientación sobre una comida que le funcione. Puede ser excesivamente entusiasta al comer, por lo tanto su madre de acogida utiliza una botella plástica, kongs, un mantel de lamer u otras formas para proporcionar enriquecimiento y también utiliza alimentación dispersa. Edie puede ser reactiva a otros perros en correa. Por lo tanto estamos buscando un área tranquila para su hogar definitivo, idealmente un área rural o una ubicación suburbana muy tranquila y madura. Edie is a little French Bulldog female aged about 2 years. She is a very sweet, cute and clever little lady and is good with people but not a fan of other dogs or too much hustle and bustle so we are looking for a particular home environment for her. She came into our care some months back but came into season so this delayed her neutering and her adoption. On the plus side this means that we have had an opportunity to learn a lot about her and her needs so we know a lot about the type of home environment that will work for her. Edie is an active little lady and needs plenty of regular exercise and appropriate enrichment. .She will need a couple of good walks, full of exploration and sniffing, each day, with some play and puzzles too. She is doing well with crate training and house training and any adopters will need to be prepared to continue with this. She can spend some time alone and is quite happy to hang out while her human works or potters. However, she loves company and did not have much of this we suspect in her previous life and so we are looking for a home for her where her human is around much of the time and will be working from home (in the future) and/or on a part-time basis. She is great in the car and is always up for an adventure! She loves her food but not all food agrees with her so we will need to provide guidance on a food that works for her. She can be overenthusiastic when eating so her foster mum uses a plastic bottle, kongs, lick mats or other ways to provide enrichment and also uses scatter feeding for her. Edie can be reactive to other dogs on lead. As such we are looking for a quiet area for her forever home, ideally a rural area or a very quiet, mature suburban location. In her foster home she has access to both a busy suburban area and a quieter, more rural one and does infinitely better in the rural home where she is much more relaxed. She will be looking for an adult home with no other dogs and a quieter home without lots of comings and goings. . She loves a good chew . She has a few nylabones , buffalo horns etc but will find other things to chew if she is not provided with suitable chewables. She loves her lickmat too so is happy to work away on that once it has been laced with suitable yummies. Edie is a lovely companion and a very sweet people-oriented little lady. She needs some continuing help with comfort with other dogs and new situations but we can provide full support and guidance on this. Edie is very affectionate with her humans and loves to sit with you, hanging out on the sofa beside you or playing, just being close to you. Edie is fully vaccinated and microchipped (981020000951776) and she will be neutered before going to her forever home. Edie is a fantastic companion and will enjoy a fun and adventure filled life with her new family in the right environment.
