Benvenuto George nel nostro hotel. George è un bel Dogue de Bordeaux di 6 anni che è recentemente entrato nel nostro servizio. Bellissimo George ci è arrivato a causa del mancato rispetto del suo precedente proprietario ed è ora pronto a guardare avanti verso un futuro più luminoso pieno d’amore, cure e una buona e sana alimentazione. George è un vero tesoro che ha bisogno solo di un po' in più d’amore e pazienza per aiutarlo a adattarsi alla sua nuova vita. I tempi di alimentazione vengono gestiti con attenzione per George poiché al momento è in una dieta gastrointestinale per aiutare a mantenere un peso sano e supportare la sua digestione. George ha bisogno di tempo per digerire correttamente i suoi pasti, quindi viene alimentato poco e spesso utilizzando un mangiatoio rialzato. Questa routine funziona bene per lui e gli permette di vivere una vita felice e comoda. George adora le sue passeggiate e gode di uscire per esplorare. Come potreste aspettarvi per la sua taglia e razza, può essere forte sul guinzaglio, soprattutto quando trova un buon odore da seguire. Al momento George sta ricevendo farmaci per i piedi e alcune aree irritate sulla pelle, ma si sta riprendendo bene e speriamo che questa terapia sia solo temporanea. Sta anche ricevendo gocce oculari perché soffre di una lieve entropion, una condizione in cui le ciglia crescono all'interno e sfregano l'occhio. Sta gestendo bene la sua terapia e le gocce lo aiutano, ma continueremo a cercare consigli veterinari e potremmo considerare un intervento in futuro se necessario per dargli la migliore qualità di vita. A causa della sua precedente vita, George ha saltato l'apprendimento di alcune importanti abilità sociali. A volte tira il guinzaglio e potrebbe beneficiare di alcune sessioni in classe per cani per aiutarlo a costruire fiducia e imparare comportamenti appropriati. George può essere uno spirito sensibile e avrà bisogno di tempo e pazienza per adattarsi alla sua nuova casa, ma ha davvero un temperamento dolce e gentile. Al momento sentiamo che George sarebbe meglio adatto a una casa dove può godersi un ambiente calmo e rilassato dopo tutto ciò che ha attraversato. La conoscenza della razza Dogue de Bordeaux è essenziale per la sua riammissione, poiché George avrà bisogno di padroni impegnati che comprendano la razza e siano disposti a soddisfare tutte le sue esigenze. Please welcome George to our hotel George is a handsome 6-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux who has recently arrived into our care. Gorgeous George came to us following neglect from his previous owner, and he is now ready to look forward to a brighter future filled with love, care and a good, healthy diet. George is a real sweetheart who just needs a little extra love and patience to help him settle into his new life. Feeding time is managed carefully for George as he is currently on a gastrointestinal diet to help maintain a healthy weight and support his digestion. George needs time to digest his meals properly, so he is fed little and often using a raised feeder. This routine works well for him and allows him to live a happy, comfortable life. George absolutely adores his walks and enjoys getting out to explore. As you might expect with his size and breed, he can be strong on the lead, especially when he finds a good scent to follow. At the moment George is receiving medication for his feet and some sore patches on his skin, but he is healing well and we are hopeful this will only be short-term treatment. He is also having eye drops applied as he suffers from mild entropion, a condition where the eyelashes grow inwards and rub against the eye. He is coping well with his treatment and the drops are helping, but we will continue to seek veterinary advice and may consider a procedure in the future if needed to give him the best quality of life. Due to his previous life, George has missed out on learning some important social skills. He can sometimes pull on the lead and may benefit from a few sessions at dog training classes to help him build confidence and learn appropriate behaviours. George can be a slightly sensitive soul and will need time and patience to adjust to his new home, but he truly has a loving and gentle temperament. At this time, we feel George would be best suited to a home where he can enjoy a calm and relaxed environment after everything he has been through. Knowledge of the Dogue de Bordeaux breed is essential for his rehoming, as George will need committed owners who understand the breed and are willing to meet all of his needs. George is a big, slobbery boy who is very food-motivated and full of love. He deserves the very best life and a family who will give him all the care and affection he has always deserved. George could potentially live with a neutered female canine who is calm. He will require multiple introductions at the centre to help build bonds. With my bestie enjoying the sun ❤️
