Profilo dei cani del Toledo Rescue Mission: Hermés è uno dei cinque primi cani salvati da un canile in Spagna interna, che sta chiudendo e tutti i suoi 80 cani, tenuti in condizioni terribili, devono essere evacuati. È un bellissimo Mastin Mix con un manto di colore brindled. Hermés aveva precedentemente il nome Nr. 36, ma ora tutto questo è alle spalle - fa parte della famiglia Triple A Marbella e sta velocemente recuperando dal passato di abbandono e sofferenza, lentamente lasciandosi alle spalle, ma comunque - è in un rifugio e dovrebbe essere in una casa.... Hermés vive insieme a due grandi mastini femmine nel rifugio e si comporta molto bene con loro, specialmente considerando che è un ragazzo più giovane e le due signore sono anziane - dà loro spazio, le tratta con dolcezza e rispetta la loro velocità quando vanno in passeggiata con il guinzaglio. Quando ad esempio si porta Hermés e Ananda a passeggio insieme, si può tenerli con una mano sola, tanto camminano lisci e calmi insieme con il guinzaglio, è bello. Nel parco cani, è abbastanza indipendente e ama andare a sniffare da solo o con i suoi amici, e non cerca ancora molto il contatto umano, il che può essere ottimo per una casa dove al cane viene dato spazio e tempo per stare da solo o insieme ad altri cani, dove l'umano non è necessariamente disponibile 24/7. Certo, una volta che avrà il suo umano, mostra più affetto e attenzione verso il suo umano, come fa con gli operatori e volontari che conosce. Ma non è appiccicoso o dipendente dall'attenzione dell'umano in ogni momento. Hermés ha un piccolo rigonfiamento rosso in uno degli occhi, che rimuoveremo una volta che la sua ripresa fisica dal canile sarà in ottime condizioni, che non dovrebbe prendere molto tempo ormai. Non è un intervento grande e lui sarà perfettamente bene poco dopo, ne siamo certi. Hermés cerca una casa con uno spazio esterno preferibilmente. Potrebbe essere l'unico cane di una casa, ma sarebbe eccellente anche in compagnia di altre femmine sicure, forse più anziane (non lo abbiamo ancora testato con i maschi, ma non fa drammi con gli altri cani). La sua altezza alla spalla è 73 cm. Poiché è abbastanza grande e se decidesse di saltare su, c'è parecchio cane, quindi preferibilmente vorrebbe una casa senza bambini piccoli.

Hermes lives together with 2 big female mastins in the shelter, and he is behaving very well with them, especially considering that he is a younger boy, and the two ladies are in their senior years - he gives them space, treats them softly and respects their walking speeds, when walking together on the leash. When you take for example Hermés and Ananda walking together, you can even hold them with one hand, that's how smoothly and calmly they are both walking on the leash together, it's lovely. In the dog park, he is quite independent and likes to go sniffing by himself or with his friends, and does not yet search so much human contact, which can be great for a home, where the dog is given space and time to spend on his own, or together with other dogs, where the human is not necessarily available 24/7. Of course, once he will have his own human, he shows more affection and attention to his human, like he shows to the caretakers and volunteers that he knows. But he is not clingy or dependent on the human's attention at all times. Hermes has a little red bump in one of his eyes, which we will be removing once his physical recovery from the perrera is in an excellent status, which should not take too long anymore. It is not a big surgery and he will be totally fine shortly after, we are sure. Hermés is looking for home with some outdoor space preferably. He could be an only dog of a home, but he would also be excellent together with other confident, perhaps older females (we have not yet tested him with males, but he is not making drama about other dogs). His shoulder height is 73cm. As he is quite a big boy and should he decide to jump up, there is quite a lot of dog, then preferably he would like a home without small children.
