Mad Man Murphy si è subito fatto notare quando è arrivato nei canili. Chi conosce i Staffies capirà quanto possano essere rumorosi... Murphy è un meraviglioso Staffordshire Bull Terrier con un bel pelo scuro. Sa perfettamente come usare quegli occhi da cucciolo e ci ha tutti incantati. Murphy è arrivato da noi dopo aver trascorso alcuni mesi in una casa con un cane più grande. Purtroppo, il cane più grande non lo ha mai apprezzato e spesso iniziava adlitazioni. È stato messo in accoglienza per alcuni giorni da un'altra associazione, ma loro hanno avuto difficoltà a gestirlo perché le presentazioni sono state troppo veloci e le cose sono andate troppo in fretta. Dopo alcuni giorni in canile, è chiaro che Murphy abbia bisogno di guida. Stiamo lavorando a costruire la sua partecipazione e a introdurre un'importante formazione. Lui la prende alla larga, ma essendo un cucciolo, è molto più interessato a giocare e correre nel nostro campo. È esattamente il tipico Staffie - ama giocare con il suo gioco a tiro, che è un ottimo modo per costruire la partecipazione con i suoi assistenti. Si intende bene con altri cani e potrebbe condividere la sua futura casa con un altro cane amichevole. È anche socievole con i cani quando è fuori. Al momento stiamo lavorando sul suo camminare al guinzaglio, sulla formazione nella gabbia e sul controllo degli impulsi. Il proprietario ideale sarebbe disposto a continuare la formazione che abbiamo iniziato per assicurarsi che cresca in un cane ben formato. Esperienza precedente con la razza sarebbe un vantaggio, ma non indispensabile. Consigliamo che i bambini della casa siano più grandi di 12 anni, poiché Murphy può essere un po' vivace, soprattutto quando è eccitato. Arriva come un tornado e può essere un piccolo vortice di pelo. Murphy è in ottime condizioni di salute, è aggiornato sulle vaccinazioni ma dovrà essere castrato quando sarà abbastanza grande. Murphy è estremamente dolce e affettuoso e tutto il personale lo adora. È un carattere dolce e divertente e è sicuramente una splendida aggiunta alla casa giusta.

Mad Man Murphy certainly made himself known when he arrived at the kennels. Anyone who knows Staffies will understand just how vocal they can be… Murphy is a stunning Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a lovely dark coat. He knows exactly how to use those puppy-dog eyes and has us all wrapped around his paw. Murphy came to us after spending a few months in a home with an older dog. Unfortunately, the older dog took a dislike to him and would frequently start fights. He was placed in foster care for a few days through another rescue, but they struggled to cope after introductions were rushed and things moved too quickly. After a few days in kennels, it’s clear that Murphy needs some guidance. We are working on building his engagement and introducing some much-needed training. He’s taking it all in his stride but, being a puppy, he’s far more interested in playing and racing around our field. He is every bit the typical Staffie—he loves playing with his tug toy, which is a great way to build engagement with his carers. He gets on well with other dogs and could share his future home with another friendly dog. He is also sociable with dogs when out and about. We are currently working on his lead walking, crate training and impulse control. His ideal owner would be willing to continue the training we’ve started to ensure he grows into a well-rounded adult dog. Previous experience with the breed would be a bonus, but isn’t essential. We would recommend that any children in the home are over 12, as Murphy can be a bit full-on, especially when excited. He comes in like a wrecking ball and can be quite the little fur tornado. Murphy is in great health, he is up to date on vaccinations but he will need neutering when he is old enough. Murphy is incredibly loving and affectionate, and all of our staff adore him. He’s a sweet, funny character and is sure to make a fantastic addition to the right home.
