Come ogni Pointer, ama esplorare con il naso e dare la caccia alle lucertole. Un altro segugio abbandonato, probabilmente perché "non svolgeva bene il suo lavoro". Ma Roger non è un attrezzo. È un'anima. Con il passare degli anni, il suo corpo si sta logorando e ha bisogno di più cure, integratori alimentari e sostegno, quindi le sue spese aumentano sempre di più. He absolutely adores people. Every time he meets a volunteer, he lights up with pure excitement. He lives for human connection and melts under gentle petting. He is truly human-centered — a dog who belongs by someone’s side. When we found Roger, he was skin and bones. So thin and hungry he was just a few steps away from collapsing. During his first months with us, he was protective over his food — because he knew what starvation felt like. Now? He knows he will never starve again. And all he wants to do is play. Like every Pointer, he loves exploring with his nose and hunting lizards. Another hound abandoned — probably because he “didn’t do his job well enough. ” But Roger is not a tool. He is a soul.
